@BaseballDudes48 I would THINK it would have to do with HS players go through collegiate development to determine who's blue chip then draft them to go through MiLB development. That's my guess...I'm probably wrong but that's how I view it.

As someone who was drafted, and signed, out of high school (‘96), I would love to hear MLB’s reasoning for proposing to eliminate players being able to be drafted out of HS. 🤔🤔 What are your thoughts??

Money is likely not a deterrent for the Braves at the deadline, especially with the added money from Profar suspension Plus, Cardinals are already paying $20M of his contract this year, and Red Sox could pay more down for better prospect return Gray is a sensible target

Illinois has produced some great jazz singers. This is little known singer, Billie Poole, born in Edwardsville in 1929, started singing at an early age. Her family moved to California in 1943 and started singing in choirs. She cut two albums. Here is "Royal Garden Blues" with The High Society Jazzman. She sang for Memphis Slim and later in gospel choirs. She passed away in 2005. On another note, let's make Illinois great again and flip it red.
