Wes Streeting has been the Labour MP for Ilford North since 2015 and is currently the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. Wes is very much the focal point in the government’s pay dispute with doctors in the NHS. He has described the British Medical Association (BMA) as a ‘“cartel-like union and no longer a professional voice for doctors.”’ He has also called striking doctors “delusional”.
