I spent 3yrs total in iraq, from 03 ending in 09. All I'm saying is cops aren't combat tacticians. They aren't SF, Delta, or Seals. They train to use their weapon as a last resort. They comically underfunded, underpaid, and undertrained and the nature of their work compels complacency. Given those factors, it's no wonder he didn't hit the first few times.

@FoopaLooter @fightsarchived I’ve actually done running and gunning training and this cop missed 90% of his shots. I missed maybe 2 out of 19 rounds on the one run I did miss shots on with a 300$ pistol. Ok I lied, 325$ if you include the 25$ 18 round mag for that XD pistol.

Correct. The reality of policing today is they are underfunded to have complex dynamic range scenarios of the frequency required to overcome the adrenaline and fight of flight response in a sudden shootout. This guy might have just kissed his infant daughter in the forehead and left his home and runs into this. He is likely unqualified, overweight, and needs more range rime. But if you took a random sample of 1000 police officers I doubt you'd see a bunch di drastically better. Maybe most would do a little better, but when a guy is shooting directly at you, it's hard to react in an accurate and aggressive way unless you've spent the time in a shoot house and on the range. And a LOT of time.

@FoopaLooter @fightsarchived You don't rise to the occasion, you fall to your lowest level of training. im sure you would agree, ie need more range time.

@ricksmith6292 @fightsarchived Exactly. Keyboard warriors. In 0.5s the perp pulled a gun and shot at him. They are trained as cops, not infantry Marines. The first to complain about militarized police will criticize him for missing the first few shots (maybe, hard to tell when the perp got hit).

@FoopaLooter @fightsarchived Most of those people have never shot a gun let alone done so with adrenaline pumping through them. Everyone is an expert online behind a keyboard. Shit is so incredibly tiresome.

Is this based on your vast experience of using a pistol in a gunfight? He was slow, should've been drawing earlier and needs better training. But missing the first few shots is completely understandable under those conditions. I luckily never used my m9 in combat, but I've seen people miss laughably close shots with an m4 during engagements. When the bullets start coming at you, it's a LOT different. Especially when you're it happens suddenly and with little warning.

@FoopaLooter @fightsarchived Dude, everyone but you has a point. 1 the cop was multiple seconds late pulling the gun and should have been smoked, 2 he was missing at 10 feet which for anyone trained is absolutely pathetic.

@PointNemo61 @fightsarchived That is absolutely not true. Most people, including cops, get meager range time. Shooting a pistol more than 10yds accurately is very difficult and the slightest tension (especially when adrenaline is high) and you completely miss the target.

@FoopaLooter @fightsarchived Yeah, but still . . . c'mon. Most of us don't carry a gun for a living. If we did, we'd become proficient in using it up close.

Nate from Valhalla VFT has been such a disappointment. I can't tell if he's just grifting or really is as ignorant as someone with a half a brain would deduce. Nonstop conspiracy theories, silly opinions, etc. I see nothing wrong with any of this gear. He might be doing night transport, have collateral duties, etc. when I went on day missions I always brought my nods. Because, you know, the sun goes down.

I held a TS/SCI during which time I had three arrests, plus an additional one during the initial investigation. You don't need to a choir boy to be trusted with classified information. Pointing out an infraction from 20 years ago is stupid and begs the question: what were you doing 20.years ago?

FBI Director Kash Patel disclosed in a 2005 letter that he'd been arrested for public urination. He also described a public intoxication arrest in 2001. These details come as Patel faces scrutiny over alcohol use. My story in @theintercept. interc.pt/4cP2YSv
