@Konrad_Wernicki Bitch he still scored the goal. The fuck did you?
English

@rcxane I mean it becomes harder and riskier as you get older, not impossible.

@Jasonscallahan @RepNancyMace You should absolutely fight violently for your beliefs
English

@RepNancyMace That has no place in Western Culture...full stop. Those RAG heads, can fuck right off.
Civil war...is coming... we are ready to take back our country.

@DirtyErnieDeux I have my criticisms of Mamdani, but the most transparently narcissistic and venal man in the history of American public life is currently the President, and well loved by his base. Clearly this can’t be about a politician being narcissistic.
English

This raging narcissist made it all about himself, which is entirely predictable, and of course the lefties suck him off. Shocker.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar
this is honestly an excellent celebratory and motivational speech from Mamdani at the Knicks parade. i'm ready to run through a wall, and i'm not even a Knicks fan
English

@punishedpat76 @BlueBoxDave There’s a lot of reason. 1. Politics isn’t all ideology, it’s pragmatic and about coalitions. 2. Muslims are a diverse bunch, and most of the established immigrants in the USA are educated and pluralistic. 3. The USA’s Imperialist consensus is only opposed by progressives.
English

@BlueBoxDave I’ve always found it bizarre how such a doctrinally conservative, indeed, socially regressive religion can be so politically liberal. Can someone make it make sense?
English

@punishedpat76 @BlueBoxDave It’s because in praxis Islam is extremely heterodox. Also, everything changes.
English

@BlueBoxDave This is the best you got? Muslims are evil, full stop.
English

@mattvanswol You are done, but you don’t understand why. You backed a transparently venal, narcissistic baby while he and his cronies dismantled our country, and pretend like you weren’t responsible in some way. You’ve all lost any shred of credibility you once have. REPENT
English

@RepFine that’s a crazy number. What methodology was used to determine it? On the face of it it seems far fetched. Could you explain?
English

@stoolpresidente I remember that. Mamdani said “Karl Anthony Towns”. Are you a liar?
English

I don’t get why people are impressed by a guy who is good at reading other people’s speeches. He’s a professional actor. People slobbering all over Mandami. I get that politicians always try to make sports about them and use it to their advantage so I guess you can’t blame Mandami for hogging the spotlight. But dude couldn’t name 1 player besides Brunson when asked during a debate last year. Now he’s a super fan? I think it speaks to how inauthentic he is and how dumb people are who slurp it up. That’s just me though

@jason@Jason
not fan of Mamdani But this speech was fire 🔥

@thenate36 @StephenM If you were born and raised in China, you’d be more Chinese than anything else.
English

@jmrphy You can’t develop a distaste for great books you haven’t read.
English

The strongest argument against Great Books programming is that it inculcates a subservient and performative attitude toward reading and ultimately thinking itself (which most of the great authors would find contemptible). After a basic canonical education great readers and writers become extremely idiosyncratic, they don't read from a headmaster's list in order to accumulate cultural capital for public display (if your passion just happens to be the Great Books it can only mean that you fell in love with maximizing your publicly legible cultural capital, even if only to improve your own interior image of your own sophistication). If you ever sincerely intuit what any of the greatest thinkers are getting at, then pretty quickly you go off the beaten path, develop a distaste for some of the Great Books, and form an independent perspective of what is worth reading and thinking about. The fetishization of Great Books is now, on net, doing more harm than good.
Luke Burgis@lukeburgis
What is the strongest argument from the political Right AGAINST Great Books programs? I can't imagine it's the "the humanities are dead, study STEM" argument, which has currency in Silicon Valley, but maybe I'm wrong.
English

@Gavin_McInnes Don’t talk about elites, your pretentious asshole. I’ve never seen a more ersatz man of the people, cable access televangelist, chinless fake catholic. keep that nose in fresh powder, loser.
English

I want to hate elites and their socialism fetish because it's destroying the Western world - including the greatest city in the world - but then Zohran flashes his cutesy smile and my heart just melts.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar
here is Mamdani's entire speech at the Knicks parade, which is easily the best speech I've ever heard at an event of this sort
English

@Gavin_McInnes Nationalists have a funny relationship with Zohran. He speaks the language of solidarity and shared purpose, then detaches it from ancestry and ethnicity. You kind of like it but also hate it.
English

@JG_CSTT @Gavin_McInnes He’s describing other people’s experiences, not claiming them as his own. Humans occasionally do this strange thing where they pay attention to how other people live, even when they didn’t personally grow up that way.
English

@Gavin_McInnes Is he watching the game in 1978? Where does the signal flicker? we’ve had digital cable for maybe like the past 20 years.

1- Iran exposed as having a shit military which is now toast.
2- Neocon war hawks are mad (that's a good thing).
3- Iran said they closed the strait but we were able to smuggle out ships without anyone knowing. Bluff called.
4- Oil climbed (normal for extreme military operations) but never hit Biden's peak ($118/barrel).
5- Same with inflation (Biden = 9%).
6- Iran agrees to no nuclear weapons and is destroying enriched uranium. Obama never came close to that.
The regime only knows violence and they got it.
WE WIN! TOLD YA SO!
