@atrupar I noticed her left arm never moves and she continues to have speech trouble, she's like Women in Maine still have rights, women outside of Maine. She is a Walking talking billboard for a blue tsunami next election
English

@atrupar Wow it's like she's so out of it that she's harming the #Republican ticket nationwide hopefully she's asked more questions on camera she just gave #Platner another point or two lead. She's a gift like Paxton for the #Democrats a train wreck for the #GOP
English

@ReallyAmerican1 She like Paxton in #Texas are presents for the Democratic party. #Talarico and #Planter there not just going to Win there going to make an example of #Republican stupidity on not changing candidates. It's so bad in Texas even with their cheating they may lose one or two seats

News Center Maine just caught up with Sen. Susan Collins and asked about her pivotal vote to confirm Justice Brett Kavanaugh, a vote which ultimately led to the Supreme Court's disastrous Dobbs decision overturning Roe vs. Wade.
"I do not regret that vote. I do disagree with Justice Kavanaugh’s vote," Collins replied.
This April, Johns Hopkins released harrowing findings on the maternal mortality impact of Dobbs — "researchers found a possible 9.2% increase in pregnancy-associated deaths in states with abortion bans," according to a press release from the institution.
Study authors like Suzanne Bell warned that the true number of deaths related to Dobbs might be far higher.
"Increases in these measures of mortality can be hard to detect, but these findings suggest many preventable deaths have occurred in states that banned abortion," Bell explained.
During Kavanaugh's 2018 confirmation hearings, he sold lawmakers a far different:
"I understand the importance of the precedent set forth in Roe v. Wade. So Roe v. Wade held, of course, and it reaffirmed in Planned Parenthood v. Casey, that a woman has a constitutional right to obtain an abortion before viability, subject to reasonable regulation by the state up to the point where that regulation constitutes an undue burden on the woman’s right to obtain an abortion."
Despite Kavanaugh's about-face and the many deaths that followed Dobbs, Collins still doesn't regret her vote.
"Obviously, I'm disappointed in that decision, which turned abortion issues back to the states. It has not had an impact on the state of Maine in that name actually expanded its law," she said.
The women of Maine and all other states deserve better. Regret does nothing to lower preventable maternal mortality — vote accordingly.

@dscc She doesn't have any sence of right and wrong, or she knows that she can't win against Platner and has decided to flush the whole #GOP down the toilet with herself as she leaves office how could women vote #Republican

BREAKING: Susan Collins confirms she STILL does not regret her vote for Brett Kavanaugh, which led directly to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Interviewer: “I was hoping you could talk to me a bit about your vote to confirm Kavanaugh and whether you regret that?”

🚨BREAKING: Susan Collins has a 57.1% chance of winning Maine’s US Senate election.
Maine - 2026 US Senate (Odds)
🟥Susan Collins* 57.1%
🟦Graham Platner 42.9%
Projected Margin: 🟥R +1.1
This is a must-win race for Democrats, but Graham Platner’s numerous scandals have effectively destroyed their chances. Collins could even perform better than she did in 2020.

@cargostick @SenGillibrand I think the Republicans are going to go back to 2009 and say there was negative inflation that year so we need to adjust Social Security COLA downward to the amount that it should be today if you follow inflation rules properly
English

@cargostick @SenGillibrand He said on June 9th that Social Security must be "adjusted and fixed" stating that Republicans have a plan to address them. Well adjusted mortgage means payment fluctuates
English

@SenGillibrand #Republican Mike Johnson said if they keep control they will cut next year on June the 9th

Yes, Graham Platner is indeed a threat to Maine women.
Daily Kos@dailykos
Senate Republicans on Wednesday begged their donors for money to try to save Maine Sen. Susan Collins, saying that newly minted Democratic nominee Graham Platner is a threat and that Collins will go down without GOP donors’ monetary support. Read more here: dailykos.com/stories/2026/6…
English

@nathanTbernard Yes huge amounts of money will be spent in #Maine it doesn't matter I'm not a DR but Collins appears to have the systems of someone with stage 2 Parkinsons left arm shaking and trouble speaking clearly
English

Collins-aligned groups already booked $100 million worth of Platner attack ads. The GOP plans to spend over $300 million through election day, nearly double their 2020 ad spend in Maine. bangordailynews.com/2026/06/15/pol…
