My most unpopular position is that the “rage” the Democratic base claims to feel is basically just some sort of social contagion, or raw emotion that doesn’t transcend. They’re not as angry as they claim to be.
Virginia convinced me of this. Late in the campaign I heard a lot of stories about people down there expecting friends and neighbors and family down there who were angry and wanted Dems to fight to go out and vote yes on redistricting, but then they voted no because they basically said “but not like this.”
The moment a lot of these people get a chance to actually stick it to Republicans, they back down and want to find some peaceful resolution.

Hatred against Jews is a virus that continues to spread.
I had a plot against my life simply because I’m Jewish. Many in our community have lived with this same reality. The fact that Americans are being threatened, assaulted, or murdered because of their religion is simply unacceptable. We must do better as a country.

I think we’re probably going to have to see a massive AOC defeat in a presidential election before it sinks in, but progressives need to be told, in no uncertain terms, they their entire political agenda is hopeless and all they’re doing is continuing to empower Republicans to build a permanent majority while they hide out on the coasts in their urban ivory towers

He has a Nazi SS tattoo. The ones they wore in the death camps. So it’s not just about Nazi ideology, it’s the tattoo the people planning and executing the Holocaust had.
If I had somehow “accidentally” gotten a tattoo like that I would immediately drop what I was doing and get it lasered off my body in extreme shame.
Platner described it to others proudly as his “Nazi-style” tattoo, according to CNN.
Go look at my tweets when Nazis marched on Charlottesville. I criticized Trump relentlessly for his weak response and “both sides” nonsense.
That was a refusal to condemn. What Democrats are doing is worse. We’re embracing this person as our standard bearer for the Senate.
