@Insurifun Makes sense. Just saw it was a new rate filing. Considering they don’t say the write in NJ on their website I figured it was a compliance thing. NJ they lost their shirt in.

$LMND with a small 14 page amended rate filing in NJ. Looks like $LMND is going to try and give it another go at writing new auto policies in NJ. Can't recall when they stopped writing new policies in NJ, I think it was a little over a year ago going from memory. They made some tweaks, doesn't seem like they changed much (I leave that to the readers interpretation) and requested that these modifications go into affect 1/1/2026. The changes appear minimal so I'm wondering if it's just something for the existing renewal book, but would be curious if they address it at some point. Anyway, newest rate filing so figured I'd share.

Bad news keeps dripping out for $MCY... Bloomberg's smoke damage story shows why we expect wildfire losses to climb steadily. It took just one quarter for $MCY to revise damage estimates up to $2.1b (our floor for damages). How many $MCY insured homes have smoke damage? They won't say. Why does this matter? See below:

The general public does not understand the absolute disaster created by @ICRicardoLara and @CDInews. The @CDInews knowingly hurts it's own citizens, local businesses and small insurers AND directly passes benefits to the largest corporations.
