Cheney was originally from Nebraska, went to college in Wyoming, married a WY native, lived there for some time and represented it in the House from 1979-1989, living in DC several times along the way. Moved to TX while at Haliburton, moved back to WY to be VP.

@KarthikForTexas @matthewichoi They were from Texas originally; Dick Cheney moved to Wyoming to serve as Bush's VP. I imagine that they just moved back after Liz lost.

@jnewt_maps @mkorman Marshall ran in 1920! You’ve actually got to go back to Thomas Hendricks in 1885, and that was because he *died*.
The only other instance would be William R. King who also, you guessed it, died in office.
In fact, every single D VP who survived their term has run for President.

Today’s decision by the Supreme Court Overturning Chevron Deference is a great day for the Constitution and the American people. Since Chevron was decided in 1984, the heavy hand of big government has been encroaching on Congressional powers, and that power has rightly been put in check today.
