The Cecil County Democratic Central Committee just selected Neil Jennings as their candidate to run in SD-35, meaning Dems have a candidate in every state legislative seat in the state. The last time they did so was in 1974.

@jnewt_maps Did you base this off of total votes for state rep candidates in each party, or total ballots pulled for each party? (I calculated mine based off of US Senate totals in each seat and got slightly different results, fwiw)

Poll crosstabs among Latinos: YouGov (2/26-3/2):🟠 Talarico +29 Emerson (2/26-27): 🟠 Talarico +21 Chism/Blueprint (2/23-24): 🟠 Talarico +29 UT Tyler (2/13-22): 🟢 Crockett +19 UT/YouGov (2/2-16): 🟢 Crockett +4 Univ. of Houston/YouGov (1/20-31): 🟢 Crockett +9 So either Latinos broke late for Talarico, or out-of-state pollsters just had a better read/sampling of Texas Latinos than the state university sponsored polls. Or both. But polling Texas Latinos is very difficult!
