This is wonderful. Robert Jenrick utterly destroys David Lammy after it's been revealed that 91 prisoners have been accidently released. He withheld information from the house. The man is *not* fit for office. He should resign.

“Tolerance is a British value.” Not really. Politeness is a British value, until the line is crossed, and then…

@TheRaul20 It’s sad how a lot of peoples reactions to this goal are to compare it to Messi or Ronaldo. That line of thinking discredits anyone else receiving any form of praise.

@DanielPriestley Using immigration as the driving force headline behind it proves how desperate they are to get this implemented.

When it comes to having a massive surveillance state with a central database that links everything up and can shut you down, make your decision based upon your least favourite politicians having control over it. Maybe you love Keir Starmer; how do you feel about Nigel Farrage having the keys to your digital ID? Or how would you feel in 10 years from now, the party you didn’t vote for decides that they are going to switch off your banking access because something you are doing or not doing conflicts with their latest policy. Once this cat is out of the bag, it’s not going back in. Governments almost NEVER concede power once they have it. My view, smaller government with fewer powers is the way to freedom and prosperity. I think it’s a terrible idea to give government a master key to your entire life… which is how a digital ID can be used. Do we really believe that ring fencing every UK citizen inside a digital ID is going to stop people arriving into the country on boats? ``

A corporate job is a smooth road that ends rough. It’s smooth to join a big business, immediately earn money and leverage their brand and systems. Then comes the day when they let you go at age 53 and you’re seen as overqualified for the jobs that are hiring. You’ve still got 12 years til retirement and then another 25years to sustain yourself. You’ve got a mortgage and a family who depend on you. It’s a rough road at that point. By contrast the entrepreneur journey is rough at the start. It’s rough to work hard and get little rewards, to hire people who earn more than you do, when you can’t switch off, when you constantly feel 10 steps behind. Then comes the day when your sales team are making sales without you there, your manager is solving problems and your brand is trusted in the market. The business doubles while you’re less hands on. At 53, you’re offered a deal to sell the company and join the board of the acquirer. You clear the mortgage, you’ve got investments and new opportunities open up. At this point it’s a smooth road ahead. Corporate jobs offer a smooth road the ends rough. Entrepreneurship is the rough road that can end smooth.

@petergyang All the information it collects is then compiled for our sales team to follow up on. As you only have a 24 hour window to respond, the automation doesn’t operate on Fridays & Saturdays, it builds a backlog for Sunday

@petergyang A WhatsApp automation for anyone who downloads a product brochure. As we receive a huge amount of these and it’s a real mixture of hot and cold, it sends a video to them with more information after 7pm at night when we know they are home and then does some basic interacting ..

I feel like outside of coding, real world usage of AI agents is nascent at best. Someone prove me wrong - what's an AI workflow or agent you've set up that's super useful? Something that runs automatically and gives you value without you having to go back and forth with it?

UK businesses beware! Companies House wants all small businesses to start posting their profit and loss statements for the world to see. When this goes ahead, not only can everyone see your finances in detail, they’ll see what you spend your money on. If your business has figured out a great marketing strategy or an awesome tech stack it will be there to see. If your business made a loss, maybe because you’ve been investing in growth you’ve had a bad year, everyone will see your financials. If you’re a small startup and you’re trying to look bigger than you are to win your first serious client, they’ll know that their deal will be significant. Maybe they won’t do the deal or maybe they’ll use it as leverage. If you top up your pension account, your whole team will see it. This will also be a scammers dream. They can send an AI through the internet looking for ways to exploit this data. When it goes ahead, it will be another blow to UK entrepreneurship. Why start a business in the UK and have your detailed financials on show to the world? Don’t believe it? Here’s the link. Please share this. gov.uk/government/pub…

We did it 🥹 $2M ARR. Bootstrapped, with a full-time team of 5. It all started in 2020 when we asked ourselves: ❌ Why are forms so boring? ❌ Why are they so expensive? ❌ Why do they always look… bad? What if: ✅ Forms were actually fun to create? ✅ Forms had no volume-based pricing—unlimited submissions for free? ✅ We could build an independent company—no VC money, on our own terms? Fast forward to today, and I couldn’t be prouder to hit this milestone with @TallyForms. Our blog has almost become a personal diary, where we’re documenting every step of the way—and you can find the latest update here: blog.tally.so/we-crossed-2m-…

The US economy is roughly 9X size of the UK economy. @doge is already saving $1 billion a day by cutting unnecessary expenditure. Pro rata the UK could save £90 million a day if we did similar. That’s £32 billion a year! Stop raising taxes and start cutting waste.
