Today in #Kismayo, along with other cabinet colleagues I joined H.E. President Ahmed M Islaam @PresidentMadobe to launch the M.V. Dalmar 001, a state-of-the-art fishing vessel made by Sommarine Limited. This is the first modern boat of its kind manufactured in Somalia in recent times, aimed at boosting our fishing industry. The President praised Sommarine for their exemplary work and encouraged other investors to follow suit, assuring government support for the sector's growth. #Jubaland #somalia

Crazy how the best referee in Africa and the reigning African Referee of the Year, Omar Abdulkadir Artan officiated only TWO matches at AFCON 2025. 🚨🇸🇴 He wasn’t sick. He wasn’t injured. Just a simple fact: HSM failed to unify Mogadishu, Garowe, and Kismayo. He has miserably failed to build a functional Somali National Army and still relies on foreign troops for protection. He failed to establish a credible electoral system in Somalia, yet imagines he can dictate anything within Somaliland’s borders. Lasanod is Somaliland, and we are committed to resolving differences through dialogue and peaceful means. HSM must put his own house in order—starting with a reliable electoral system that allows Somalis to choose better leadership.
