@Jack_Rabbit009@basilthegreat As someone who is not a license payer and thinks it should be subscription based whether hell would we want ANY leader of another country controlling the media of our country.
As someone who is hard of hearing this is incredibly annoying. So instead of a quick DM they can come back to when they have time to respond I have to struggle for over an hour barely being able to hear on the phone.
★★ Review: 13 Going on 30 – New musical based on the popular film is bland and aimless.

@nocompulsoryvac@DiZee4@benonwine To be fair the kids who were autistic and non verbal or in nappies etc were not seen in school in the 70s and 80s because they were institutionalised or in special schools separate to society.
@DiZee4@benonwine Not aware of being unable to breathe properly?
Not aware that your child couldn't speak at 10 years old and didn't know how to use the toilet?
Not aware that your child was diabetic or had an anphylactic reaction to wheat, egg or milk?
I don't think that is the case. You do you.
@MANCMUMOF1 That's not what farage meant. It means that your GP has a list of your illnesses. For things like hypertension, you get called in once a year for a check up. In no way is this a disability register, as he means it. He says that you get money from it. For hypertension??
Dear @reformparty_uk
You cannot register as disabled.
You should be absolutely nowhere near policy around disabled people.
Absolutely nowhere near it or us.
Yours,
Everyone with a spark of humanity.
@MANCMUMOF1@RyanTalksAutism@brainmcmillan I think clearly it varies.
Mine was via Right To Choose, someone else I know who went for a combined ADHD and Autism assessment also did it via a Right to Choose provider. I didn't quiz them in detail, but from their retelling it did sound wholly remote.
Was yours a RTC or NHS?
GP's do not diagnose anyone as Autistic.
GP's do not diagnose anyone with ADHD.
Anyone claiming that one single GP visit can get you a diagnosis of either is lying to you.
Yes, I'm looking at you, Mr Farage.
@LorraineWa_@Danwhite1972@reformparty_uk Nimbus is something you have to pay for privately.
It is not a disability register that the GP can put you on.
There is no disability register in the UK apart from the learning disability register
@busyworker99@Ladyinw8in55324 My daughter is on the learning disability register. In house register just means that she has an annual review with the practice nurse to check her health, they make adjustments to letters they send her (more pictures less text) and appointment adjustments.
@WorldOBarry@RyanTalksAutism@brainmcmillan I don't have experience of the adult ADHD system and was referring to autism. The person I know who did it via Zoom did have questionnaires but there were also tasks they had to complete and a whole separate appointment that was just to interview their support person.
@MANCMUMOF1@RyanTalksAutism@brainmcmillan So, July I had an ADHD assessment. (6-24 month wait):
A Teams call, revolving around "Do you do [obvious symptom of ADHD], give example", a .doc questionnaire for partner just given-to & returned-from an email I provided.
ANYONE engaging in bad faith could exploit this fully.
@mymyxmu@RyanTalksAutism@brainmcmillan Well your GS GP has acted in appropriately then.
Assuming under 16 ADHD has to be diagnosed in children by a paediatric specialist or psychiatrist.
Autism is diagnosed by CAHMS and the waiting list is years.
children do not get PIP. They get DLA.
@WorldOBarry@RyanTalksAutism@brainmcmillan I do know however that in the midst of Covid in 2020 and 2021 they were using Zoom to assess and also interview the known person. The difference with Zoom versus a phone call is Zoom allows them to assess eye contact, body language and signs of stimming etc.
@RyanTalksAutism@brainmcmillan I mean, you can quibble but is a Teams/Zoom call fundamentally spiritually different than someone summarising it "A Phone Call"?
@NorthBritannia@twistedsister17@itvnews@Nigel_Farage@Peston The problem is many employers don't want disabled employees because they don't get the back up they need. My daughter has learning disability, autism & a physical disability, she works for disability charity but 'normal' employers would have to provide heavy support & they won't.
'There are too many young people being put on disability benefits'
@Nigel_Farage tells @Peston he would crack down on young benefits claimants if he became prime minister itv.com/news/2025-09-0…
@RaachRach@BethRigby@SkyNews I actually think he possibly will and although I desperately hope not I am half looking forward to the fuck around and find out stage when some of the voters I know realise his policies affect them also...
Farage tells @SkyNews he will deport women back to the Taliban in Afghanistan as he rows back on stopping small boats within two weeks of being in govt
news.sky.com/story/farage-c…
@CrazElga@itvnews@Nigel_Farage@Peston You throw digital ID in there randomly despite it not being part of the conversation as though I am a lefty and want it. I am not. I happen to think all of them are a pile of steaming shit. They promise the World and never deliver.
@MANCMUMOF1@itvnews@Nigel_Farage@Peston We are discussing young people here? in context, your words are the same rhetoric that successive Govs have endorsed. But we are still here! Nothing has happened, nothing ever happens. Digital ID that´ll do the trick ! 🙄
@CrazElga@itvnews@Nigel_Farage@Peston Previous government's have spouted shit for years while cutting back services. Don't get me wrong my learning disabled and physical disabled daughter would love to be let loose in the army, don't think the army would like it as much... She is work and studies full time luckily
@CrazElga@itvnews@Nigel_Farage@Peston Or you know we could put money into employment support/ access to work services that previous parties stripped back & support disabled employees back into work and encourage employers to employ disabled employees by making sure they have appropriate training/backup and equipment.
