@BillyReinhardt Id be surprised if they want Wagler. If its not MBJ I see a trade down. MBJ just checks all of the boxes for what the Nets look for in a player. Wagler on the Nets is too friendly. They need players with an edge. Its beyond just the talent.

With a week to go, ranking this specific group, I have: Keaton Wagler Mikel Brown Jr. Darius Acuff Jr. Nate Ament Kingston Flemings I think one of the first two should be the pick. If Nets want one of the players from the latter group — all of whom I like — they should trade down and extract another asset or two from another team. Would be surprised if Nets wanted Acuff.

I am not here exuding confidence in a turn around. The starting rotation is a significant issue But facts are facts, there is still time and the current format keeps the door ajar They need to play much better baseball and be more consistent, otherwise selling is inevitable
