@AndrewDBailey I think you’re underestimating how much injuries played into Wolves series vs the Spurs. Wolves beat Spurs 2 out of 3 times during regular season, w the only loss being Ant’s 55 point game. Ant, Ayo, Naz all dealing with major injuries, plus Dante being played a huge factor

Always fascinating to me how heavily matchups influence the playoffs.
The Nuggets are basically hopeless against the Timberwolves, and I’m pretty sure the Spurs would’ve beaten them in a series, but I think Denver would’ve been more competitive than this.

I really hate how when a team loses we relitigate everything.
The Wolves gave up a bunch of picks for Rudy and he had a bad Game 6 against a better team. They traded KAT because of the CBA for Randle and he had a bad series.
They made two WCFs and got to the second round, for a team that has been a historical joke since KG in 2004, TWENTY years ago.
They built a good team, they couldn't get it to put it together. It doesn't mean it wasn't worth it.

Chris Finch: We believe in our young guys, you know, there's evolution and development that has to take place, but that team that we just played, their young guys were all top lottery picks, so there's a difference right there, there's a gap that you gotta make up right there. Randle seems to be the best 1v1 defender against Wemby. Only reason I can see Wolves not using him as the primary defender is the Spurs may just pick & roll the whole time
