Just opened a new Gluten-Free loaf from @warburtonsgf to make toasted sandwiches with it and half the expensive loaf is air. GF food is not cheap anyway but this is not on. What can be done to sort it?

@lauriefitzherb5 @warburtonsgf I barely eat bread, this was a treat! And, this brand doesn't contain xanthum gum (which, on a quick Google, doesn't have the effects you say it does!). Unfortunately, running my own business, I don't have time to make my own bread / experiment. But thanks for the g/f support! :)

@Messymuppet @warburtonsgf Skip bread all together. It's usually full of xantham gum that's made out of bad cabbage mold that dehydrates the gut. GF flour can be microwaved into good cake & bread. Use baking soda & vinegar as leavening. Experiment.

What just happened on Strictly feels a bit messed up. @tomdean00’s departure will go down as one of THE early shocks. Lovely bloke who really could have become a great dancer. He looked like he was loving every second of it and @NadiyaBychkova looked like she loved teaching him. I’m not an expert - and I’m happy for someone to explain - but how he lost that dance off is completely beyond my comprehension. Genuinely thought they could have gone a long way 🤯

@antligen23 @mrdanwalker @tomdean00 @NadiyaBychkova He had a full dance, with the full amount of steps. Toyah had a tiny amount of the actual dance she was supposed to be doing, and an awful lot of messing about. Toyah should have gone.

@MarkGlennon2 @Paymentsense A big problem for us was people who use their phones to pay! They couldn't get cash out, at the machine 2 doors up, as you can't use your phone to do that!

Seriously ill, being poisoned by food & poisoned more by medication they gave me to fix problems it caused! I couldn't succeed!! Lost years!

Those who aspire, but have nothing to invest & are repeatedly thrown curveballs by life no matter how much they work or aspire. Those who are failed by the system, or have serious health issues, or are undiagnosed!!

@toady Living with chronic illness & disabilities means we have to be super strong & focus on positives. What we CAN do. Then this process throws it on its head, focusing on the CAN'T. A lifetime of trying to be as normal as possible, then told you're not really disabled! An imposter!

I left a PIP Tribunal crying in humiliation. I hadn’t cried when my parents died,or when I was told the damage a tumour inflicted on my spine would be life changing. Started a fresh claim and was awarded highest rate.The process is cruel and designed to be so. #RishiSunak

@toady So bad the tales of the horrendous system, and these horrendous interviews, that I've never applied, just can't face it! My stepdaughter did, but it was awful, had to fight with everything she had for the help she deserves! Took such a toll on her already fragile mental health!

@toady I've heard such horrendous stories!! They don't understand mental health, masking, autism, or any kind of chronic conditions that can be up and down. Good days / bad days? Nope. Their tests, forms and questions are so focused on certain physical conditions only.

@guardiannews Gluten Free offerings were slashed by supermarkets, while their vegan offerings doubled or quadrupled in size! The Gluten free aisle is almost always sold out, whereas the vegan fridges and freezers are almost always full!! Horrific that supermarkets chose a fad over allergies!!

@guardiannews The masses of pre-packaged vegan meat alternatives seem to go against vegan principals, so true vegans don't buy them. Those that did, have found a new fad! Supermarkets buying in in droves was always going to swamp the market!
