Getting a passport in India is like travelling to Mount Everest. There is no proper pathway,no one gives you an update, just running behind these people and they are sending you from one place to other. PSK, police station, RPO where to go. @sjaishankaroffc @CPVIndia please suggest

@reachanandl No, they held by head offices which ultimately feed into National Small Savings Fund (NSSF).

PPF (Public Provident Fund) is designed with that ironclad security in mind. When you deposit via a bank or post office, the funds are electronically credited straight to your PPF account held at the RBI, bypassing any intermediary control. Banks or post offices act purely as collection points; they don't hold or access the money post-transfer.
This setup minimizes risk, which is why PPF remains a cornerstone for long-term, low-risk wealth building in India— perfect for your equity-debt balanced portfolios.
Trusting RBI here makes total sense; it's the safest bet for principal protection.
Let this sink in 😀

A job is stressful.
So is having no job.
Being single is stressful.
So is being in a relationship.
Having money problems is stressful.
So is handling money.
Living with parents is stressful.
So is living alone.
Waking up early is hard.
So is wasting your day.
Going to the gym is hard.
So is feeling insecure in your body.
Working on yourself is hard.
So is staying stuck.
Starting something new is scary.
So is staying the same for years.
Speaking up is uncomfortable.
So is being ignored.
Walking away is painful.
So is staying where you’re not valued.
Saving money is tough.
So is being broke at the end of the month.
Building discipline is hard.
So is living without control.
Life is full of trade-offs.
Stop romanticizing lives you haven’t lived.

A big boost to ‘Ease of Living’ and ‘Ease of Doing Business’…
It’s a matter of immense delight that Parliament has passed the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill 2026. This Bill strengthens a trust-based framework that empowers our citizens. It marks the end of rules and regulations that are outdated. At the same time, it ensures speedy disposal of cases, reduces litigation burden with decriminalisation.
What is also noteworthy is the consultative approach with which this Bill was drafted.
My compliments to all those who have given their insights towards the drafting of the Bill and supported it in Parliament.

@BaluGorade Over 29 years associated with HDFC AMC is impressive.

An interesting story of Prashant Jain managing HDFC Balanced Advantage Fund consistently for 28 years.
> One of the longest tenures by any fund manager in India.
> The fund was launched on 1 February 1994 by 20th Century AMC, where he was part of the founding team and started managing it from day one
> In 1999, Zurich Financial Services acquired 20th Century Mutual Fund and renamed it Zurich India Mutual Fund, and he continued managing the fund seamlessly
> In June 2003, HDFC Mutual Fund acquired Zurich India Mutual Fund, and he continued his journey without interruption.
> Under his leadership balanced Advantage fund delivered 17% CAGR, while Sensex delivered 9-10%
> Today, HDFC Balanced Advantage Fund manages over ₹1 lakh crore in AUM, making it the largest in its category.
> Over time, he also managed HDFC Flexi Cap Fund and HDFC Top 100 Fund till his exit in July 2022
> In 2023, he started his own AIF, 3P Investment Managers
> Rare dedication and consistency across multiple market cycles and three different fund houses.
Truly a legend in Indian fund management.

@pulkit_mittal_ They should give priority to passport. It's ruined by red tape & corruption - old.reddit.com/r/PassportIndi…
English

Realized this while doing taxes today 😤
Only 1.6% of people in India pay income tax.
We taxpayers are never included in government welfare schemes and are consistently neglected. In fact, we have exited public services as well, not by choice, but by necessity.
We are forced to pay for private schools, hospitals, transport, banking, tolled roads, water, air, eldercare, and every service that has a private alternative. We pay twice: once as tax, and again to escape broken systems.
Actually… we understand that India is a poor country and that this is how things work, so we have made peace with this “donation.”
But can the government at least spend maybe 10% of the taxes we pay to give us some priority in places where exit is impossible?
All we ask for is priority in government offices.
Separate fast-track courts and police stations for income tax payers.
May be additional queues for income tax payers at driving licence offices, municipal offices, passport offices, and GST registration centers.
A dedicated helpline for emergency and public services.
Priority as a token of thanks!!!
