@Novig Memphis. Torn Achilles injury’s are deadly for an NBA career. You don’t need Naz, when you have Jaren Jackson, Santi Aldama, and GG Jackson.

Wilt “The 8 players above him are all cold blooded killers. LeBron James over many years has proven to be the most mentally fragile superstar I have ever closely observed”

Sources: The Blazers interviewed Rockets assistant Ben Sullivan for their head coaching job. He interviewed for the Suns last summer. He’s been an assistant for Ime Udoka (Rockets/Celtics), Joe Mazzulla and Mike Budenholzer (Bucks/Hawks). He played for the University of Portland.

@PDXReech @Tdub48864 @UnderdogNBA @JakeLFischer That sidelines out of bounds play he runs with Toumani inbounding to sharpe who cuts under the basket to get open near the side is not it, multiple games I have watched it get intercepted or knocked out of bounds, sometimes leading to a turnover 🫩

Tiago Splitter unlikely to land Blazers’ full-time head coaching position, via @JakeLFischer. Portland hopes to interview upwards of 30 coaches for the role.

@Tdub48864 @UnderdogNBA @JakeLFischer Bro didn’t graduate school because what else do you think I meant. Look at every teams ATO success rate and compare Tiago, he is at the very bottom.

Rui Hachimura is an upcoming unrestricted free agent, and Portland could have access to the Non-Taxpayer MLE worth around $14-15M. A lot of fans want that money used on Rob Williams, but if the Blazers somehow move off Jerami Grant… would you be interested in going after Rui ? Deni and Rui already have chemistry from their Wizards days too 👀

While regular Americans struggle with the price of gas, groceries, car payments, utilities, and mortgages, Cracky the Clown is posting gold statues of himself. Calling him out of touch is the understatement of the decade.

The Blazers don't need to trade for a superstar. They already have one in Deni, and another coming back in Dame. What they need is smart upgrades around the edges. A Michael Porter Jr trade could be the perfect fit. He's a great shooter with championship experience, who doesn't need a high usage rate. — Plus he's on an expiring contract. Could you imagine Deni having the kick out options of Dame & MPJ? Who says no? 👇 #ripcity

Sen. Collins says she has “an essential tremor, which I have had throughout the entire time I have served in the United States Senate. This benign condition, which affects approximately 1 in 20 people over the age of 40, does not interfere at all with my ability to do my job. The tremor is occasionally inconvenient, and sometimes the subject of cruel comments online, but it does not hinder my ability to work and, as I said, is something that I have lived with for decades.”

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the Minnesota Timberwolves are the most likeable team in basketball. Legit superstar, play with an attitude, talk shit, don’t foul bait, actually care about defense, and have great people like Conley to root for.

I’ll concede Wemby’s second block of the game as off the back board, but I watched the other blocks in slow motion and have no idea how you can argue goal tending on any other block.
Alan Horton@WolvesRadio

"When we looked at them at least 4 were goaltending. It's a little alarming that NONE of them were called & there's no heightened awareness that [they] could be goaltends. That's 8 points. The value of 8 points in an NBA game is massive." -Chris Finch on Wemby's 12 blocks.

Deandre Ayton says he felt like he “disappeared” in Portland before joining the Lakers: “This is where people make their names, and this is where people get to see you play for real… It’s a big stage, and I’m truly happy to be back.” (via @DanWoikeSports, h/t @TheNBABase)

Portland Trail Blazers End of Season Awards: Blake Wesley — The "Ball of Energy" Award After the first five games of the season, it felt like the Blazers had found a gem in Blake Wesley He fit seamlessly into the ultra-aggressive and fast-paced style the Blazers were running, coming off the bench to wreak absolute havoc Then he sadly broke his foot and missed the large majority of the year, and while no one is probably more upset about it than him, Blazer fans felt his absence Blake never fully re-integrated himself back into the rotation, but it was impossible not to feel his presence on the team as the hype man Blake was the one at the end of the intros doing handshakes, he was always first off the bench to give daps and high fives, and he is an ultra-hard worker whose energy rubbed off on everyone It's safe to say everyone on the team this year loved Blake, and while his status as a Blazer for next year is uncertain, Blake has already locked up his place in Blazers lore for the way he always kept the vibes high in this landmark season
