@EL4USA A significant portion of the TSA security fee—officially known as the 9/11 Security Fee is sent to agencies and funds other than the TSA itself. While the fee is collected to finance aviation security, substantial amounts are diverted to the U.S. Treasury for general gov use.

TSA is funded by taxpayer money & passenger fees. When you buy an airline ticket you pay a "security fee" which is collected by the airline & remitted to the government. We are paying FOR our security. Chuck Schumer & the democrats are holding our money hostage & using it to withhold funding to other agencies that we also have already paid FOR OUR SECURITY. The democrats are once again putting the American people in danger. A danger they made 1000 times worse with their open borders.

@BasedMikeLee A standard REAL ID does not prove U.S. citizenship but it does prove lawful presence in the U.S. While it requires documentation like a birth certificate or passport to obtain, it is available to lawful permanent residents and temporary visa holders, not just citizens.

If @POTUS and the @GOP want to blame the Democrats for not paying @TSA employees, ask any Republican if they have offered to fully fund them, offered them the GS pay scale, and Title 5 rights? See what they say. They have fought against doing that for the last 20 years.
