@VoidSpecter001 Also, Jats are not overtly religious, but have a deep bond with Sanatan Dharm - especially Shiv, Ram and Hanuman. Peddle your agenda at your own risk. It may end up being ugly.

@VoidSpecter001 Jat here. I respect the Sikh Gurus, but would die rather than leave Hinduism for Sikhism. Sikhism is a copy of Islam in many ways, which makes it unacceptable. Moreover, Hinduism has everything that a seeker needs - including an atheistic view.

@ajk_pahari Though caste is certainly a factor behind genetics. In Western UP (where I come from), Jats etc look distinctly different from Brahmans and Baniyas. Muslims are mainly from the working classes, and look much like their Hindu counterparts.

@ajk_pahari An interesting fact here is that genetics are driven more by region than caste. I believe Jats and Gujjars from this area will look similar to this gent. Otoh Rajputs from beyond the Yamuna look more like their Jat and Gujjar counterparts, than this gent again.

@PShunga29486 @HVSBanwait Hi, Rishi. Wanted to chip in. I am not a Khalistani. I believe in Panjabiyat. I said what I said because the Punjab Police and Indian Army slaughtered thousands of Punjabis. Activists who spoke up were dealt with by the govt. We can’t even release movies about that time.

@HimmatManes @HVSBanwait Hey Himmat, welcome your chip :-) Sorry couldn't respond earlier as I rarely check X. I am a Hindu Jat from Western UP. I believe in Bharatiyata, of which Punjab is an integral part since Vedic times. I note your perspective, and am trying to understand it these days.

@NishthaRabab Nationalist Sikhs (like Jaskirat) were always a part of us. What has changed with Dhurandhar is the calling out of Khalistani villains, as shown by the character of that drug peddler Amarjeet Singh (2/3)

I waited for Dhurandhar to release on OTT because I wanted to skip the violence and gore. I started watching it last evening but shut it down within ten minutes. It didn’t suit my palate. Too much gore. It also made me realise that we, anyway, can’t skip the violence happening in real time, why subject myself to it on screen too. It’s a humble request to the parents to carefully guard their children at home against watching it.

@manoj_216 Sikhs are not banned. But Muslims are. And even that is wrong. There are Muslims who go to the dhams out of devotion (ex. Bollywood actress Nusrat Bharucha). Who is anyone to stop them from going? I am a staunch Hindutva-vaadi but this is unacceptable.

I feel elated whenever I enter a 'Gurudwara' and I do it quite often - the peace, tranquility and 'shabads' are a food for my soul. I never felt like an alien in any such occaasion. And why should I? In God's place, all are equal. But Sikhs will not be allowed to enter our temples now? Why? What's wrong with us? This is not the India I envisioned. And if you don't raise your voice now, you will be a part of the division of India that's subtly happening in our minds Please come forward and oppose such ridiculous moves.

@TheMuslim786 I detest Muslims' bigotry, but stand with Subhan here. If you watch his reel, he did not mean to insult Sikh sensitivities. Ganging up, slapping and forcing anyone to 'apologize' will not earn you respect. Sikhs need to understand this.

Location: Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh A young man named Subhan recently recorded a video of himself performing ablution at the Golden Temple, which later went viral. Following this, a Nihang Sikh reportedly tracked him down and slapped him. He was then taken to a mosque and forced to apologize. As a form of religious penance, Subhan was allegedly ordered to perform service at Sis Ganj Gurdwara with his head bowed. However, Subhan had already released a video apologizing for his actions.

@Junaid_Mattu Junaid ji, valid point and this sad chapter of history should be known to every Indian. But what about the centuries of atrocities faced by Kashmiri Hindus, of which 1990 was only the most recent chapter? A Mattu should know this best.

We speak of the Kashmiri Pandit exodus often. WHY doesn’t anyone ever speak of the genocide of nearly 2 lakh Muslims of Jammu in 1947 at the hands of armed Hindu militias aided by the forces of Maharaja Hari Singh? And how many Muslims had to flee to save their lives? These are figures recorded in history, attested to by independent international scholars, historians, researchers and journalists. These human tales of suffering endured by Muslims in Jammu in 1948 are harrowing and unimaginable — entire families wiped out, burnt alive, daughters raped in front of their families. YET, those 2 lakh victims of the 1947 genocide in Jammu are never spoken about. This shameless silence is primarily due to our own apologetic Muslim politicians and leaders in J&K. They are SO apologetic about their own ethnic identity that they have allowed the history of Muslims of J&K to be whitewashed over decades. They might have palaces in Bathindi but have never spoken about the victims of 1947 genocide whose blood is in the same soil where their real estate investments are thriving today - Palatial houses, apartment complexes across Jammu, shopping complexes and vast swathes of land. They are more interested in their investments and Jageer than in standing up for Kashmiris. The whole rotten lot of them. Today’s “Jammu Pradesh” echo finds its roots in the genocide of Muslims carried out in 1947. The hate never went away. It was only systematically suppressed for Jammu to thrive in an administrative mechanism that always benefited Jammu and appeased Jammu while inflicting gross injustices on Kashmir. The way Jammu couldn’t tolerate Kashmiri Muslims students in their medical college is also something that finds its roots in the same ideology and venom of the Jammu genocide of 1947. Kashmiri leaders should stop being shameless and stand up for those who vote for them. Their speeches and loitering around in Jammu, sitting in party offices there in the winters soaking up on Vitamin D, amounts to naught. There are no takers for their apologetic and shameless efforts to please those who hate our very existence - neither in Jammu nor in Delhi. Time to stand up for Kashmir or get out of the way!
