@Strangey81 @j1nv3st My position is low to medium risk so not what you’re referencing. But to be knee deep in semi or tech right now with no diversification is brace but not my cup of tea. Each to their own but I am happy to retire modestly.

@2147mill I think it will recover but unlikely that we’ll see our losses turn green. Could be an up and down week. I am still thinking about the guy who bought £61k of SANDISK at 1720 midday Friday. His life savings… then saw it drop to 1520 by close. Hope he’s ok…

@atokdase @philkellr Correct. However, never underestimate what someone is capable of when they can no longer control you. Once the relationship ends, your progress and success, will become their resentment. Keep your wits about you and be ready to do whatever is necessary.

@PendingProblem @philkellr Yes I also came to this conclusion. Hold my tongue, suck up my ego, don’t say all those things you want to say. Play the calm long game and get to an amicable agreement. Regardless of how you think/feel. The frustration comes and goes in waves though.

My wife left me after 22 years of marriage. While I cannot write how this came to be (as with all separations it's complicated), two things I wanna share: Prioritize family & friends over business: even though I probably couldn't save my marriage I wished I would have spent more time with my wife. It sounds cringe but money can't buy friendship, that's what I'm realizing the past months. Pain is hard: There's nothing which could have prepared me for this, and there's also no quick fix to get out of the pain. In fact every quick fix makes it worse. I guess it needs time. Lament & distraction. It helps to be with friends but then also alone on the balcony staring into the night. And please: no pity-replies. I'm not fishing for "poor Phil" comments. Not even sure why I'm writing this, it just somehow needs to get out.
