Few people know this, but all Hatzalah members have to train as Mohels. If the patient is a non-Jew, they have to get an emergency circumsion before they can receive treatment.

Wait, what? If you acknowledge domicide "doesn't exist yet" (which, it doesn't), why did you just openly accuse @Israel of committing an imaginary crime...that doesn't exist? As if that isn't bad enough, you seem to be confused about how the (actual) crime of genocide was established. Yes, Lemkin initially proposed the concept & definition, in Axis Rule in Occupied Europe (1944). Then UNGA adopted Res 96 (I) (1946) affirming "genocide is a crime under international law," and then UNGA also adopted resolution 260 A (III) (1948), thereby establishing the actual crime of genocide pursuant to int'l law. You'll notice from that outline that we went from proposal (Lemkin) to resolution to Convention. This process is intuitive since we're talking international law...that is, (actual) law between states. Now that this process has occurred and the crime of genocide actually exists, allegations can proceed (legitimate or otherwise) that a crime of genocide has been committed. Contrast that with "domicide." @UN_SPExperts & various NGOs have proposed the term & definition, just as Lemkin did with genocide. And...have states adopted a Domicide Convention? Or...is there extensive & virtually uniform state practice with an accompanying opinio juris to establish this as a "crime" pursuant to customary law? No, and no - as you acknowledge when you say domicide "doesn't exist." Yes, you can advocate for this crime to be established. But you have no business accusing Israel - or any other state, for that matter - of a "crime" that currently only exists in your imagination. What you're doing isn't "advocacy." Falsely accusing a person of a crime (that can't be committed since this "crime" doesn't exist) is defamation. What you're doing is the equivalent, but your target is a state instead...in this case, the only predominantly Jewish state in the world. As it turns out, the rhetorical question you pose in the tweet I quoted before this actually is incredibly relevant: "Does anyone even care anymore?" If by that you mean to ask, "Does anyone even care anymore...to express & apply international law as it actually exists and to refrain from knowingly making false accusations that a nonexistent crime has been committed just because making it up fits their preferred 'advocacy' interests?"...clearly the answer is "no." And if you ever find yourself wondering why no one believes you or trusts you or respects you or takes your special interest "advocacy" seriously anymore...remember this. You only have yourself to blame. ⤵️

@BrianCox_RLTW @UN_SPExperts @UN Yes it doesn’t exist yet as a stand alone crime and that’s the reason for the advocacy. The same way ‘genocide’ didn’t exist in IL as a stand alone crime in the 1940s when Raphael Lemkin proposed it.

@ggreenwald Not London, Paris, or Berlin because the crocodile eats the appeasers last. But don’t worry, Israel and US will remove the crocodile’s teeth before London, Paris, and Berlin need to worry.

Hard to believe this is isn't parody. Does anyone know why Iran is bombing Israel, but not London, Paris or Berlin? Is it beca use of anti-Semitism or some other possible cause?
Arsen Ostrovsky@Ostrov_A

This is what happens when an Iranian missile, with a 100 kg warhead and cluster munitions, strikes the civilian heart of Tel Aviv. Imagine the global outrage if this was London, Paris or Berlin. Yet because it’s the Jewish state, the world is SILENT!

Spoke with Australia’s FM @SenatorWong. We discussed at length developments in the war in Iran and Lebanon. I emphasized the massive scale of missile, rocket, and drone attacks against Israel from Lebanon. Israel is acting to defend its communities and citizens. I described the reality of life these days in our northern communities, to which residents returned after over a year in which they didn't live in their homes. Most international media outlets are currently portraying the situation on only one side of the border. Unfortunately, the Lebanese government is not taking practical steps against Hezbollah, neither to stop the attacks on Israeli civilians, nor in other contexts. I welcomed the arrival of Australia’s new ambassador to Israel, Neil Hawkins, and expressed my gratitude for the swift acceptance of the credentials of our ambassador in Canberra, @Hillel_Newman.

@AntSpeaks To be fair, there aren’t a lot of pro-Israeli guests who would stoop to appearing on his show anymore. Because of the pattern you’ve described.

And what will Piers do next? I’ll tell you what will happen. He will invite Cenk Uygur, Dave Smith, and some other Islamist sympathiser onto his show, along with just one pro-Israeli Jewish guest. The terrorist sympathisers will say that what happened in London was terrible, BUT! of course Israel and the Jews are to blame. The pro-Israeli Jewish guest will barely get a word in, while Piers will sit there convinced that his show offers a very balanced and fair perspective on the issue.

You negotiate with terrorists. We do not. In the UAE, we don’t negotiate with terrorists we ban them, we eliminate them. To Washington, to the EU, to NATO, to Israel do whatever you need to do. The Islamic regime in Iran and its terrorist network must go. BTW..The Muslim Brotherhood and the IRGC are designated as terrorist threats in the UAE. Yet in the UK, the Muslim Brotherhood is not banned, and the IRGC has long faced hesitation in being fully proscribed. That is the difference. We act. Others debate.

@mehdirhasan Buddhist extremists, don’t kill religious enemies outside Burma. Hindus outside India. Catholics outside Northern Ireland. Islamists kill their religious enemies everywhere. Specifically civilians. And they see everyone who isn’t their stream of Islam as enemies.

John Cleese is a perfect example of Dunning Kruger. Spends all his day tweeting incessantly about the evils of Islam, misquoting the Quran, attacking Sadiq Khan, and making points about comparative religion that are demonstrably wrong. Buddhist extremists don't kill their religious enemies? Go to Burma. Hindu extremists don't kill their religious enemies? Go to India. Catholic extremists don't kill their religious enemies? Go to Northern Ireland. FFS.
John Cleese@JohnCleese

Does this silly little man not understand that Islam is a very aggressive belief system, threatening death to anyone who does not convert to Islam The Buddhists, the Taoists, the Scottish Presbyterians, the Hindus and the Sikhs and the Confucians and the Catholics don't go around shouting about beheading people they disagree with Is this too much for your tiny little brain to take in ? Oh. The doorbell rang. The police I assume...

One persistent mistake of people living in Western countries is the assumption that their values, which they live by, are universal and all people of all cultures want the same things. This is, of course, a grave mistake. Different cultures and political systems assign meaning and priorities very differently. The Islamic regime in Iran places far less emphasis on individual human life than on honor, regime survival, and the preservation of the ideological system it has imposed on its own society. If it turns out that Iran’s missiles really have a range of around 4,000 km, then one conclusion is hard to avoid: Iran misled the international community, and ESPECIALLY Europe, and many were too willing to accept those assurances. A 4,000 km range would place large parts of Europe within reach. These capabilities were developed to reach Europe as part of the Iranian Islamist regime's ideology. And it is important to understand the ideological dimension: The hostility of Iran’s regime toward Israel, Europe or the U.S did not begin as a reaction to Western “aggression.” It is rooted in a revolutionary Islamist ideology that openly frames Jews and Christians as adversaries and calls for confrontation with them according to their interpretation of the Quran. Being a pacifist and believing we can "just talk" with the IRGC is a luxury belief. Photo credit: Kurdistan24
