A story with a great core and strong ideas. Part 1 executes nearly everything to a high level, but Part 2 never reaches the same heights, and the ending leaves a lot to be desired. Can't help but feel like this could've been one of the greats.

WOTC's decisions last forever for the secondary market.
There are ways of making "cute" cards like this that aren't a training exception. Duplicating collector number / set symbol ((the thing we train staff to identify)) makes this product significantly harder to sell.

The list wasn't all encompassing.
Theres many cards in myb that are not on the list. They also had different print runs, and notably different card stock.
Since this is a store discussion, id hope thats not how you identify them in your stock.

@ToaMichael @sunrise_flare @wontonmoresalad I believe a good addition to training is to recommend extra scrutiny when a card has extra imagery such as the list planeswalker symbol. I’m not sure what step in the process causes the most issues, but perhaps a solution can be reached to help prevent these issues in advance

When it’s one card it is a problem. (There are a couple other in SLD that have cost us real money too)
