@dantemendes Zzap!64 ran an excellent dev diary about it, way back when. The only support the devs received was a Golden Axe arcade cabinet. They had to play through the whole game and photograph everything to get their art references!

Golden Axe for Commodore 64 (1989), 8-bit conversion of the famous Sega arcade. Programmed by Steve Crow, limited to 2 guys on screen/other issues, but graphics are decent and music by Jeroen Tel is beautiful. Probably done under impossible deadline and zero support. #C64Reposts
