March Madness is here! Juan David and I just completed our NCAA brackets. While we have a few upsets, we also disagreed on a couple of games. One area did we agree on: Arizona Wildcats to win it all. Bear Down and Go Cats! 🐻⬇️

Veterans deserve an education benefits system that works for them. @RepCiscomani’s bill for VA reauthorization would create the Economic Opportunity and Transition Administration to create a dedicated department at VA focused on the transition from military to civilian life.

Appreciate meeting with Tucson Fire Department, including Chief Sharon McDonough! These men and women put their lives on the line every day to keep our us safe. Grateful for the conversation and for all they do to serve our community. 🚒 @TucsonFireDept

Democrats are playing political games with our national security. By refusing to fund DHS, TSA officers are doing their jobs without pay to keep us safe. We should prioritize those who protect us—not play politics.

Our Elementary (K–8) and High School (9–12) earned a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Juan Ciscomani for achieving an “A” rating and commitment to excellence in education. Proud of our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families!

Arizona is one step closer to its 4th national park. My Chiricahua National Park Act just passed the House, honoring one of southeastern Arizona’s greatest natural treasures - the Wonderland of Rocks - while boosting tourism & economic growth in AZ06. Now, onto the Senate. 🪨🇺🇸

Great to host @USDA Undersecretary Dudley Hoskins & have a robust discussion in Marana with local ag leaders. Agriculture - pistachios, cotton, cattle, & more - is a cornerstone of our economy. I’ll keep working in Congress to support our farmers, ranchers, & rural communities.

Great to visit earlier today with the Civil Air Patrol cadets from Davis-Monthan AFB. Programs like this are shaping the next generation of leaders through aviation, discipline, and service. Proud to see such outstanding young people right here in Southern Arizona.

Across AZ06, men and women put service above self to protect our families and neighborhoods. Grateful for their sacrifice and proud to stand with them in Green Valley this morning to show our appreciation and recognize our first responders.

Great meeting with my Veterans Advisory Council. I appreciated the update from the Arizona Center for the Missing in Action and the important work being done to ensure no service member is ever forgotten. Also shared a legislative update, including the recent House passage of two of my bills to better support our veterans. And heard from members of the council about current challenges facing our veterans. Grateful to this council’s continued leadership serving the nearly 80,000 veterans who call AZ06 home. 🇺🇸

Honored to speak at the 10th anniversary of the Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Marana. This sacred place serves as the eternal resting place for more than 5,800 veterans who answered the call to serve our nation. We remember their sacrifice, honor their legacy, and remain forever grateful for their service. 🇺🇸

Stopped by the Tucson Veteran StandDown and spent time with some of the men and women who have served our country with such courage and sacrifice.  With nearly 80,000 veterans calling AZ06 home, ensuring they have access to the resources, support, and respect they have earned will always be a top priority.  Grateful to the organizations and volunteers working every day to serve those who served us. 🇺🇸
