But, I’d love to see a decentralised Twitter, Facebook, Uber, etc. We’re starting to see them but they will need to go beyond the early adopter crypto audience for them to get the network effects required to be successful.

So leaning into that language works there like leaning into football language for @PetBerisha would... But mainstream we are seeing Square / robinhood just add coins

For Web3 / Crypto businesses to appeal to a larger audience, they need to build better brands and dial down the use of "bit". Twitter is a great brand name. BitClout is terrible.

@sytaylor @eco @donut__app Coinbase makes sense, it's a financial service. Everything derives from Bitcoin. It's exciting to see blockchain used in non-financial services, but it needs better branding. It's like the equivalent of using "net", "i" or "e" 20 years ago. Thankfully we grew out of that

@Ocado @RyanGarner @monzo Yes! Same problem for me. The other one that @monzo couldn’t help me with but maybe @Ocado can is the one-click add to basket creating a ridiculous volume of active card check items in my feed.

Something for @monzo & @Ocado to figure out... 2 of us updating Ocado basket on different iPhones. 1 joint account card connected to Ocado. 1 person always stumped with 2FA at checkout. Multiplayer home shopping & banking needs thinking through a lot more 🤔 #fintech
