The American dream should not come with a tax penalty. The Making Homeownership Affordable Again Act eliminates capital gains taxes on sales of principal residences and any home sold to a first-time homebuyer. This will help seniors downsize without a massive tax burden, putting more homes on the market, and giving first-time buyers a real chance. Caps set 30 years ago should not dictate affordability today. Let’s make homeownership a reality again. 🇺🇸
