@SearchForRyan @dylanrosewater Really appreciate the transparency and actually taking the time to share this. It’s essentially just changing titles and setting pre-rendered images. If these work for you, great. I thought you meant fully creating ads, including images and so on.

holy shit, claude code with an ad creative skill is insane, why did nobody tell me this? instead of bulk creating in canva, train claude on your entire ad library (or... someone else's) create these files for your skill: 1. design references 2. ad components 3. brand colours + fonts created 20+ ads in maybe 10 minutes that worked brilliantly on both mobile + desktop.

I don’t hate because it’s cool. I tried it out myself because I saw others posting these claims. Wasted half a day, to discover the tech isn’t there yet but I’m happy to be proven wrong. Sure if you’re just changing titles and pre-set images, I’m sure you can get something working. But why dont you simply post your results? Should take 2 min

i posted this UK time + if you saw my replies, i said i'd do a loom video today. i don't need to engagement bait anybody bcus i'm not trying to sell claude code courses to anybody nor am i trying to encourage people to use me to build their shit. i'm trying to help people use claude better but then get greeted with this typical 'i'm gonna hate bcus it's cool' rhetoric on x that is so fucking boring.

@jwegener Ad creative skill < I created it - unsure if Claude has one natively (I doubt it)

@RetentionAdam That’s insane. Would the numbers still be true without the LinkedIn personal brand? (Not knocking the brand AT ALL, curious what you think the difference would be)

We sent our best salesperson to Hawaii for a week. First class, Grand Wailea, all expenses paid. He still had to work, but he's AI, so he doesn’t have feelings/say in the matter. Adam Bot has been at RB2B for 6 months. In that time: > 16,830 conversations > 3,040 demos > 1,600 custom pricing quotes > $1M in closed ARR > Countless support tickets That’s this year’s President’s Club winner. We figured he earned the trip (and honestly, running him from a server in Hawaii costs the same as running him from anywhere else) Thank you Adam Bot. You're the best rep we've ever had, and you'll never know it.

i think being in this bubble of ai is isolating IRL none of my friends know wtf i'm talking about + it's the only thing i *do* wanna talk about a) because i don't want them to be destroyed by it b) because i want them to win with it anyone else have this weird guilt? we're still so early but you can't force people to pay attention to things that never think are coming it's been on my mind a lot lately that i'm letting them down lol

@HarryStebbings so, have a great PMF + wom from building in public... then, once your brand is already trending, we add marketing, got ya,

How does Lovable Hack Social Algorithms to Have Viral Posts: "We have a channel called bee swarming where employees post their content and everyone goes to amplify it. We try to turn every engineer into a marketer and get the whole team posting about things they are excited about. Then marketing puts its full firepower behind the biggest launches to tell the story." @ElenaVerna Biggest lessons on how to make posts go viral @antonosika @lukeharries @eglyman @FoundersPodcast?

@ryanwashere Build a skill for front end design based on ALL your landing pages and/or websites, and you won’t have that problem dude. Setup Claude.md and skills folder. 🙏

Continuing to get really good results using Claude for design... but it's not easy. Here's what I'm learning: 1. It is much better suited for landing page design, not full website design. 2. Although you can design a full website here very quickly, it starts to become a lot more effort than not, because you have to do a lot of prompting and reprompting. There are a lot of formatting things that you need to correct inside of Claude. 3. Once you get the hang of it and once it has your design style down, then you can really scale design very quickly and go from idea to fully funnel in a matter of minutes. It does take a while to get that set up. You have to train on your brand. You have to figure out a new brand that you can work with inside of here, and that takes time because it's not graded ideation. 4. You have to give it a lot of inputs and a lot of feedback. Once you train Claude on a specific business's design and once you get the GitHub set up and connected directly to Netlify, then you can really push a lot of pages through here with really top-tier design, in my opinion.

@shanejones I love that man. I have Codex do random spot checks when I run into bugs that Claude can’t seem to fix. I never thought about having a separate md file for the audit - great idea dude, thank you!

@SearchForRyan Get Codex downloaded and ask it to audit your Claude Code project and drop a review into a file like CODEX_REVIEW.md Then ask Claude Code to check over the review and comment on the suggestions. Been testing this for a bit on some projects, and it works great

i made claude code audit itself 3 weeks later on a project i've been building to find messy code + efficiencies. the app i built for my wife's business took 5-7s to load and it was driving me insane. all i said was this: "Is there inefficiencies in the code that could be removed? Unnecessary files? Things that could be streamlined that would reduce the weight or 'load' of the page? Could you do a deep dive into the code, give me what you found and tell me what it's impacting, what it could speed up and what impact it would have on functionality (if any)." the output was nuts. it found: - redundant auth checks - duplicated auth work - issues with middleware - issues with SQL it's now loading at ~3 seconds which is much more pallatable. and then i updated my state.md with all of these updates and the architecture.md too.

Tested @SearchForRyan's claim on a real codebase. Results: - With State.md + architecture.md: 47s - Without: 62s - 24% faster on a 50+ file Next.js project Single test, not rigorous. But the signal is clear, giving Claude a map beats making it draw one every time. The pattern: State.md (where things are) + architecture.md (how it's built). Two files. Biggest wins will be on larger codebases where the crawl time compounds.
Ryan Darani@SearchForRyan

okay why did nobody tell me about state.md for claude code? i've been stuck wondering why a project i build on daily was taking 8-10 mins to make changes turns out claude was reading EVERYTHING (all my code) before it made a change. i added state.md, architecture.md (alongside my claude.md) and bam, 8,000 tokens to ~1,000 tokens and from 8 mins to ~ 60 seconds. claude.md wasn't enough in this instance annnnd i'm so happy lol
