All I wanna say is that they don't really care about us…

@USCIS

They killed another one of us…
Aryan (Ali) Fahim, a 23-year-old young man was brutally executed this morning.
After enduring torture, without any access to a lawyer, and in a completely unfair and sham trial based on fabricated charges, they took his young life away.
How many more must they kill before the world finally sees the truth?

Mr. @SecMullinDHS, as you step into your new position I ask you to provide particular consideration to the status of Iranian students and professionals in the United States who may be at risk of immigration complications due to Presidential Proclamations 10949 and 10998. Many of these individuals fled the Islamic Republic’s because they believe in freedom, democracy, and the values this country stands for. They are also contributing to the United States every day.
They arrived in this country legally, followed the rules, respect this country and its system of law and order and are among the most dedicated and accomplished contributors to American society. I ask that you and your department consider these factors, plus the personal and political risk many of these young people would face if sent back to the criminal regime in Iran.
America’s concerns for its national security and the threat posed by the Islamic regime to the homeland are entirely justified. To that end, my office stands ready to provide you and your colleagues with regime operatives, propaganda agents, and influence networks for investigation and removal from the United States.
Thank you for your consideration.

While President Trump’s offer of U.S. support to members of Iran’s women’s soccer team highlighted America’s longstanding commitment to protecting those facing threats from the Islamic Republic, there is another group of highly skilled Iranian nationals in the U.S. who are also in need of consideration and support.
A recent USCIS policy memorandum has paused certain immigration benefits for individuals from 39 countries, including Iran. This pause affects categories such as OPT and OPT extensions, H-1B and H-1B extensions, Adjustment of Status (green card), and Employment Authorization Documents (EAD).
Many Iranian scholars, researchers, engineers, and other professionals currently in the United States came here legally after undergoing rigorous background checks, extensive vetting, and formal visa interviews. They have maintained lawful status and have contributed meaningfully to American universities, research institutions, businesses, and the broader U.S. economy.
I respectfully urge USCIS to reconsider and lift the hold on academic- and employment-based categories such as NIW-EB2, EB-1, H-1B, and OPT for Iranian nationals who have complied fully with U.S. laws and whose safety could be at risk if forced to return under current conditions.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration

🚨BREAKING
According to several Islamic Republic agencies and Iranian news reports, Iran’s Prosecutor General’s Office has threatened Iranians living abroad with confiscation of all their property and other legal punishments, including execution, for what it calls “echoing the enemy.”
Meanwhile, Iranian students and researchers who came to the United States legally and contribute to American universities, research, and innovation are now at serious risk of losing their legal status because of the hold affecting USCIS processes such as OPT, EAD, H-1B, change of status, and green card applications, which has now lasted for more than three months.
More than 350,000 Iranians protested for freedom on February 14 in Los Angeles alone. Many of them are students. They should not be forced to return to Iran, as this regime has repeatedly shown it has no mercy.
We respectfully ask the administration to lift the hold and allow Iranian students and professionals who are already legally in the United States to continue their immigration processes through legal channels, as this may be necessary to protect their lives.

⚠️ Update: At 240 hours, #Iran's internet blackout is now among the most severe government-imposed nationwide internet shutdowns on record globally, and the second longest registered in Iran after the January protests, with the country having spent a third of 2026 offline.
