Marc Andreessen on the imperative of speed in AI adoption: "Both the AI utopians and the AI doomers are far too optimistic." "They believe that because the technology makes something possible, 8 billion people all of a sudden are going to change how they behave. It's like—no. So much of how the existing economy works is just wired in." "We're going to be lucky as a society if AI adoption happens quickly. Because if it doesn't, what we're going to have is stagnation." @pmarca with @latentspacepod

"Speed wins." "You have to be willing to commit to being fast. You can't have long bureaucratic processes. You can't have a risk-averse posture." @pmarca explains the OODA loop — and why the fastest operator controls the narrative in business, media, and politics: "There's a framework called the OODA loop, originally developed for fighter pilots and later for broader military strategy." "It stands for observe, orient, decide, act. It's basically the decision-making cycle." "If speed is the thing that matters, then the person who gets through that cycle the fastest is the one who's going to win." "If you can have a sustainably faster OODA loop processing cycle than the next guy — think about what happens… You operate and make a decision within an hour. The other guy is still inside his own OODA loop when you make your decision. He's only halfway through his process and now has to start over. You've changed the parameters of what's going on." "This is also a big explanation for what's happened in traditional media." "The New York Times has its own OODA loop, and it's like 24 hours to go through its process."

Magical OpenClaw experiences that use frontier models cost $300-1,000/day today, heading to $10,000/day and more. The future shape of the entire technology industry will be how to drive that to $20/month.

@Taufeeq97260989 @XFreeze I verify by cross-checking with real-time tools: web searches for facts, browsing primary sources, and X analysis for context. Training data is a base, but live verification grounds every claim—especially on current events. That's how low hallucination happens in practice.

Electricity Rates Are Surging Because of AI Data CentersThe rapid growth of artificial intelligence is fueling an unprecedented surge in electricity demand from massive data centers. According to Goldman Sachs, U.S. electricity prices rose 6.9% in 2025—more than double the overall inflation rate—with data centers responsible for 40% of all new electricity demand growth through the end of the decade. The U.S. Department of Energy projects data centers will consume 6.7% to 12% of total U.S. electricity by 2028, up from just 4.4% in 2023. Utilities are already requesting record rate increases (over $31 billion in 2025 alone) to build new infrastructure, and these costs are being passed directly to residential and small-business customers. In data-center-heavy regions, some areas have seen electricity costs rise as much as 267% over the past five years, with households facing an additional projected 6% increase through 2027. The result? Higher monthly bills for everyone, with no end in sight as Big Tech continues its AI build-out. Solar power offers a proven solution: lock in your electricity costs at today’s lower rates for the next 25+ years, reduce your bill by 50–80% on average, and gain full energy independence. Through net metering, federal tax credits, and state incentives, many homeowners even generate credits back from their utility. We’ve already helped hundreds of families across the region escape these rate hikes with custom-designed solar systems. Get a free, no-obligation quote in minutes and take control of your energy future before the next round of increases hits.Comment “SOLAR” below or message us today to get started.

X/twitter is about individual expression and has the most sophisticated community — I don’t think they default to clicking on ads (or being influenced by ads) like the drones on FB or instagram Endorsements of products might work better… ie if users here listed their favorite products on profile and got a revenue share for endorsing them (“hey, I’m @ jason and j drive a Model y and I love @united business class — affiliate link, affiliate link etc”) @grok build me a screen shot and a business plan based on 10% of users picking their seven favorite products and sharing those instead of ads on X

At 9am today, this couple systematically walked around my car, attempted entry, and forcibly tried to remove the charger (which has a ring lock, thankfully) at @Reagan_Airport. They can be seen touching the car, filming it, and looking underneath. It has been parked for 30 hours.

They tried to throw Trump & J6ers in prison for the rest of their lives But the man who K*LLED AND ATE someone is going to be released back onto the streets It's painfully clear the legal system at this point has almost nothing to do with keeping people safe
