@richimedhurst Captains/Admirals of ships can and do court martial sailors while at sea. They don't have to run to the nearest safe port to do an investigation first. If this was sabotage/mutiny, everyone on the ship (even a carrier) would know who is responsible

I don't buy the idea that fatigued sailors set their own ship on fire and burned down 600 bunks. Stuffing a toilet, and burning down your own ship at sea are two completely different things -- the latter being slightly more suicidal.
Has everyone forgotten the following?
-There is a war on
-The US explicitly threatened and attacked Iran
-Iran said they will hit US ships and have demonstrated the ability to hit the most valuable US assets across the region
