My friend says she understands that hotels have expenses such as staff salaries, rent, interiors, air conditioning, and service costs. But she still felt that the price was quite high considering the quantity and type of food they received. The experience has sparked a debate. Some people believe that customers are paying not only for the food but also for the ambiance, comfort, and overall dining experience. @GulfAir I have BOM to LHR flight via Manama, baggage allowance is 35kg, can it be 2 bags of 20 and 15 as putting 35kg in one bag is not practical, thank you in advance

@volklub @DealsDhamaka But do remember Insurances comes into picture ONLY after accident and surveyor confirms engine damage (mostly physical) is DUE TO Accident, otherwise there is no correlation

@poojaofficial5 If 80% of your usage is city drive and out of 20% if half is 300km go for electric, if your most trips are 500km one way you would anyway want a break of 30-40 minutes which is enough to charge 80% battery on fast charger, there is no answer to range anxiety

Today I went to the showroom to buy a car. That's where I came across the Hyundai Creta Electric, which would cost around ₹24 lakh. The design looked great, the features were impressive, and the driving experience felt quite premium. Honestly, for a few minutes, I had almost made up my mind to buy it. But then I asked one of my friends for his opinion. He simply said, "If you are buying a car mainly for city use, an EV is a great choice. But if you are buying it for long distance travel and road trips, think ten times before making the decision." I asked, "Why ?" He replied, "With a petrol car, you just fill up the tank and hit the road. With an EV, many times you end up planning the charging more than the journey itself." That one statement has been stuck in my mind ever since. Now I am confused. Is EV really the future, or are Petrol/Hybrid vehicles still the more practical option for people who frequently travel long distances ? If you had a budget of ₹24 lakh, would you buy the Hyundai Creta Electric or a Petrol/Hybrid SUV ? And most importantly, what's your reason ?

Imagine a life, you book a cab, the cab comes exactly on location without calling you three times. The cab arrives super clean. No smell. No random unwashed sofa cover on the seats. The AC is on full blast. You don’t need to ask bhaiya ac on kar do. The driver is not eating ghutka. No religious music is playing. No next cab booking siren is blaring on his phone. The driver doesn’t honk or abuse the car ahead of him. You sit in peace. The destination arrives. You say thank you. Driver says thank you. Just imagine.

There is a new scam by @IndiGo6E these days. When you web check-in, they don’t show any free seat options to select. If you skip seat selection and choose auto-assigned seating, they say you'll receive your boarding pass by email around 4 hours before departure. In my case, it never arrived. When I called customer care to ask why the boarding pass wasn't sent, they told me that auto-assigned seating can only be done 12 hours before departure. If it isn't assigned by then, the airport has to allocate the seat. They also said they have no way to contact the airport. So you are forced to reach the airport at least 1 hour early for physical check-in. If you arrive close to the check-in cutoff, they may refuse to issue a boarding pass and say you missed the check-in deadline. Technically, there are no FREE seats for web check-in. Everybody is out here scamming common people because apparently there’s nowhere for us to go and complain. Well done!

@DealsDhamaka Check with OEM if you can drive 100 octane just to be on safe side, it may require some engine tuning has 100 octane has high burn ratio within engine and some engines might not be deigned for it, just a though I am not engineer

People say EV driving is “almost free”. But look at the complete maths: Petrol Car: ₹3,000 petrol = around 360-480 km EV Home Charging: ₹8 per unit × 50 units = around ₹400 for 300-400 km EV Fast Charging: ₹20 per unit × 50 units = around ₹1,000 for 300-400 km Sounds cheap. Now add: • ₹8-15 lakh battery replacement risk • Charger installation cost • Charging wait time • Apartment charging problems • Resale uncertainty • Future electricity price hikes Petrol cars burn money openly. EVs hide costs inside batteries, infrastructure and electricity dependency. That’s the part most reels and influencers skip.

The manner of concealment indicates that the gold was concealed by an unknown person with the intention of smuggling it into India in violation of the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962.
