@StopAntisemites Hi @MattMahanSJ, seems there’s a bit of a problem here in SJ. Also, any updates on the three identified suspects in the Santana Row incident?

San Jose State University - shocking antisemitic graffiti including “Kill all Jews” and “make Osama proud” found written on campus. The school is just a few miles away from Augustine’s, an upscale eatery where two Jewish men were assaulted after passerby’s heard them speak Hebrew.

After several days of shooting the Canyons Course at Big Horn, I moved over to The Mountains Golf Course. The front line of this course is particularly stunning as it winds through the desert, rising and falling with the rocky terrain. The sunrise on the par 3 4th hole was epic

San Jose, CA - a Jewish man is seen being savagely beaten by passerby’s who allegedly heard him speak Hebrew. Everyone sat and watched. Not one person got up to help him.

figma "god mode" just leaked.. this week i tried the future of autonomous design: claude connected directly to the figma api with full edit access.. yes it can design in figma what does it mean? you prompt, it designs. it’s like having a team of designers inside figma working with you and 10x ing your capacity why is this different? official figma ai/mcp only "reads" files to help devs. this tool (unofficial MCP) "writes" in figma to replace manual labor. hours of grinding turned into seconds of waiting imagine this: - prompt to design: generate a new screen based on your design or not - prompt to flow: generate end to end user journeys - iteration: create multiple variations in one click - design system: it can use your components to create new screens - zero click management: auto layout, component creation, deduplication handled by prompt - universal control: if you can do it in figma, it can do it for you the impact if figma officially releases this, almost every existing plugin becomes obsolete overnight it feels like figma on steroids. i’m still processing whether i feel empowered or replaced full tutorial in this article from @markacianfrani. handle with care: ai will have access to everything in figma » cianfrani.dev/posts/a-better…

Welcome to California, where you can do hard drugs in public but can't order clothing online that may contain a material. Are these the right priorities?

@MattMahanSJ Happy New Year @MattMahanSJ, I’m excited to see more progress in San Jose in 2026. Have arrests been made in the Willow Glen shooting three weeks ago?

Happy New Year, San José! Over the past week, we’ve been sharing the progress we’ve made. But before we close out the year, I want to pause and say thank you to the people who made all of it possible — starting with you. This year, thousands of residents showed up for San José. Whether you volunteered at a service project, joined us at State of the City, or stopped by a Dumpster Day in your neighborhood — thank you. You gave your time, rolled up your sleeves, and served this city alongside your neighbors. For that, I’m deeply grateful. Now, the people who serve you. Thousands of city workers, including the people on my team, work tirelessly to meet the needs of all one million San José residents each day. From @SanJosePD and @SJFD keeping us safe, to PRNS keeping our public spaces clean, @SanJoseDOT maintaining our roads, Public Works caring for our infrastructure, @sanjoselibrary inspiring the next generation and so many other departments working in tandem to create the change we need. City workers don’t get thanked enough, and the work they do is essential. If you see a city employee out in the community — a librarian, a park ranger, a firefighter, a police officer — take a moment to shake their hand and thank them. Because without them — and without all of you — none of our progress would be possible. San José is a special place because of the people who live and work here. Thank you for choosing this city, like my family and I have. And thank you to @silviascandar for your unconditional support and making this journey in civic life as fun and meaningful as it is. Here’s to another year of progress ahead of us!

What should have been a night of joy turned into tragedy. I’m thinking of the victims and their families, and wishing a full recovery to those injured. As our police officers and detectives investigate this shooting, we urge anyone with information to come forward so those responsible can be held accountable and our community kept safe. sjpd.org/Home/Component…

NEWS: DHL has officially taken delivery of its first all-electric @Tesla Semi. The Tesla Semi exceeded expectations in DHL's two week 3,000 mile trial. The truck averaged 1.72 kWh/mile while operating at avg speeds over 50mph. One test it did 390 miles while fully loaded with a gross combined weight of 75,000 lbs. “Our pilot of the Tesla Semi exceeded expectations, proving its ability to efficiently haul a typical DHL freight over long distances on a single charge,” said Jim Monkmeyer, President, Transportation, DHL Supply Chain North America. “Integrating the @Tesla Semi into our fleet is an important step toward achieving our decarbonization goals and delivering more sustainable solutions for our customers. With its range of up to 500 miles, the Semi unlocks opportunities that were previously beyond the limits of heavy-duty EVs, and we’re excited to partner with Tesla to make that a reality.” Its new home is in Central California, where the truck is traveling approximately 100 miles per day, requires charging about once per week, and offers a range of up to 500 miles fully loaded. Additionally, it is projected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 metric tons annually.

INSIDE NYT’S HOAX FACTORY Five months ago, five New York Times reporters were dispatched to create a story about my supposed conflicts of interest working as the White House AI & Crypto Czar. Through a series of “fact checks” they revealed their accusations, which we debunked in detail. (Not surprisingly the published article included only bits and pieces of our responses.) Their accusations ranged from a fabricated dinner with a leading tech CEO, to nonexistent promises of access to the President, to baseless claims of influencing defense contracts. Every time we would prove an accusation false, NYT pivoted to the next allegation. This is why the story has dragged on for five months. Today they evidently just threw up their hands and published this nothing burger. Anyone who reads the story carefully can see that they strung together a bunch of anecdotes that don’t support the headline. And of course, that was the whole point. At no point in their constant goalpost-shifting was NYT willing to update the premise of their story to accept that I have no conflicts of interest to uncover. As it became clear that NYT wasn’t interested in writing a fair story, I hired the law firm Clare Locke, which specializes in defamation law. I’m attaching Clare Locke’s letter to NYT so readers have full context on our interactions with NYT’s reporters over the past several months. Once you read the letter, it becomes very clear how NYT willfully mischaracterized or ignored the facts to support their bogus narrative.
