@philkellr You need to focus on memory and specialized agents and correct architectural context integration. It took awhile but those aren’t issues/constraints anymore

I'm tired of OpenClaw Every 2-3 days I have a major moment which I show to my friends: "look what AI agents can do", but then the other 90% is pure frustration and me cursing at my own AI agent for which I spent hours choosing a beautiful name and profile picture. I was fun at start: I added telegram, added voice input, then adding skills even with just voice prompting was a bliss. Then dementia hit. Facts from 48+ hours ago were forgotten. I installed a 3 level memory system. It felt like a huge hack, it barely works, I encounter bugs every day which I'm fixing. Then it breaks with every update. Not all of it, but little things. The WhatsApp integration is just insanity. After putting in every markdown file that it shouldn't reply to my friends (IN CAPITAL LETTERS) it happily started to chat with my wife and my goddaughter. And from today even claude subscription stops working. I feel like a failure! I see all the success stories left and right, YT vids and blog posts "I got it to work and here's what the AI agent does for me", and for me I'm still spending 5x the time fixing my agent than just doing the stuff by hand 🤷

Why are we wasting time with a new stablecoin yield proposal? There is already a path to provide yield on Digtial Assets by becoming a bank (an insured depository institution, IDI) and having the required safety and soundness standards to take people's money and invest it to drive yield. Trust Banks shouldn't be able to offer yield on ANY asset. Please do not lower the standard from having to be an IDI to be able to provide yield on any assset. The current mark-up works for everyone except a few. If those "few" want to offer yield on digital assets like stablecoins they should apply for a Bank IDI license not ask the Senate to lower the standard to safeguard the American people's money. @SenatorTimScott @SenLummis @SenThomTillis @SenateGOP @SenateBanking @patrickjwitt

I taught Claude to talk like a caveman to use 75% less tokens. normal claude: ~180 tokens for a web search task caveman claude: ~45 tokens for the same task "I executed the web search tool" = 8 tokens caveman version: "Tool work" = 2 tokens every single grunt swap saves 6-10 tokens. across a FULL task that's 50-100 tokens saved why does it work? caveman claude doesn't explain itself. it does its task first. gives the result. then stops. no "I'd be happy to help you with that." no "Let me search the web for you" no more unnecessary filler words "result. done. me stop." 50-75% burn reduction with usage limits getting tighter every week this might be the most practical hack out there right now

> be Anthropic > run by doomers who literally think humanity is a plague > mass-suspend any account you don’t like for literally zero reason > entire business model: "we tell you exactly what code to write, how to use it, and how to breathe, peasant" > absolutely despise open-source AI and dedicate entire divisions to strangling it in the crib > because you can't stand the idea of code you don't explicitly own and control > “accidentally” leak your own Claude source code on npm in the biggest tech own-goal of the decade > immediately panic, DMCA the entire planet, and nuke the accounts of anyone who even looked at the link > act like digital North Korea on bath salts Nothing screams "we own you and will destroy you if you disobey" quite like punishing your own users for your incompetent leak 🤡

The most powerful AI company on earth just bought its own media coverage. TBPN, the hottest tech show on the internet was just acquired by Sam Altman for what the Financial Times says is in the “low hundreds of millions of dollars.” The show pulls 70,000 viewers per episode and was tracking toward $30 million in ad revenue this year. TBPN will now sit inside OpenAI’s Strategy organization, reporting directly to Chris Lehane, OpenAI’s chief of global affairs. OpenAI promises the show keeps its editorial independence and TBPN has also agreed to help OpenAI with its communications and marketing. Those two things cannot both be fully true at the same time. Altman admitted the reason himself: someone told him “if AI were a political candidate, it would be the least popular political candidate in history.” OpenAI has a perception problem and now it owns the media company best positioned to fix that perception. The show’s independent ad revenue stream is being shut down, OpenAI is now the only check that signs. OpenAI is no longer just building the future, it is now in the business of narrating it.
John Coogan@johncoogan

TBPN has been acquired by OpenAI! The show is staying the same and we’ll continue to go live at 11am pacific every weekday. This is a full circle moment for me as I’ve worked with @sama for well over a decade. He funded my first company in 2013. Then helped us fix a serious logjam during a critical funding round a few years later. When I took my second company through YC, he was president at the time, and then when I joined Founders Fund, the first deal I saw in motion was the post-ChatGPT round in late 2022. And as we started growing TBPN last year, he was the very first lab lead to join the show. Thank you to everyone that has been a part of TBPN until now. The last year has been the most fun and rewarding part of my career and we’re excited to have more resources than ever going forward.

This is red alert for crypto 🚨 $2.4 trillion in coins are protected by encryption with an expiration date. Google just moved that date way up. Their new paper shows future quantum computers could crack the encryption protecting all of crypto with 20x fewer qubits than anyone previously estimated. ~500,000 physical qubits. A few minutes of runtime. They built a zero-knowledge proof to verify the breakthrough without revealing how to replicate it. Before publishing, they briefed the U.S. government. They’re now working alongside Coinbase, the Ethereum Foundation, and Stanford to push the entire ecosystem toward upgrading. This is Google walking up to crypto and saying: “We can see how this ends. Here is mathematical proof. You can verify we’re telling the truth. You just can’t see how we’d do it. Start upgrading.” Google’s Willow chip currently has 105 qubits. They need 500,000. That gap is the countdown. One week ago Google set a 2029 deadline to migrate all of its own systems to quantum resistant cryptography. Today we know why…

🚨 Google has sounded the quantum alarm 🚨 Today, they released groundbreaking progress towards breaking crypto using a quantum computer. TLDR - Existing cryptography is dead. Mempool attacks are real. We must migrate to post-quantum now. Thread 🧵

@Cointelegraph No they are not. Do not trust an AI agent with money on prediction markets. You will loose everything. Stop spreading this misinformation. This is playing into the hands of the 10% of sophistacted traders who actually do make money off of gullible gamblers.

@aleabitoreddit $VCX biggest asset is Anthropic and it is way valuable than $META or even $GOOG when it comes to the value it adde. There won’t be any software development happening without Claude models in future, even today itself. That’s the real value people are buying into

Warning about $VCX. A very popular ETF with weighting toward (Anthropic, Databricks, OpenAI, Anduril, and SpaceX). Ask yourself this: Is SpaceX is worth 23 times $META valuation? With the stock going up 1288% this month: VCX is trading at roughly ~20x its NAV. So 1500-2000% premium? This is like buying SpaceX at 34 Trillion USD. Or OpenAI at 16 Trillion USD. Would you short it? No: It's extremely low float and lack of options for hedging. But should you buy into it? $VCX looks like greater fools theory right now and you’re playing hot potato.
