Chevron CEO Mike Wirth says the global energy market now may be able to absorb the Strait of Hormuz disruption until around Labor Day (early September).
He says lower Chinese demand, ongoing inventory drawdowns, and limited “dark” tanker transits through the strait, often at night with transponders off and done with U.S. military support, have bought the market time.
Wirth however suggests actual flows from Hormuz may be closer to 3 million barrels a day, well below the 7 million claimed by the Trump administration.

It isn't about replacement. It's about doing more of what was once a scarce activity due to costs. The need for these services is far greater than what is being supplied.
Customer service/support is amazingly difficult to access. Long wait times. Dropped calls. Phone trees to nowhere.
AI would make it possible to radically increase accessibility for these services. A worker who previously delivered those services personally would be managing, monitoring or training a hundred AI coworkers talking with customers.
Virtually every category of worker they've cited would see similar shifts. Think amplification and expansion, not replacement.
Technological innovation is a much better way to improve our future than the outsourcing and offshoring sold to us by the globalists.
