@KingTargaryenn That’s jobs in general. Maybe when you’re young you have one where everyone is your best friend, but then you leave eventually and fall out of contact with 95% of them and you get older and find you’re better off being friendly, but keeping your personal life separate from work.

Actually, AI/Robotics will mean everyone can have a penthouse if they want. The output of goods & services will be several orders of magnitude higher than today’s economy. Read the Iain Banks Culture books for the best imagining of how it will be. That said, what is the future you want? Amazing abundance seems the best to me.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@healthfact_myth @AutismCapital And the thing is people will get angry at these statements. They’ll fight harder to protect their identity as an anxious person than to get out of it. Again, some people probably just have messed up brains. But more people just think they do.

@healthfact_myth @AutismCapital How many anxious/depressed people arent eating right, don’t get outside, don’t exercise, don’t get enough sleep, have no purpose they’re working towards? Aren’t doing the basics? Most of them. That MAY be result of the anxiety/depression but the reverse is ALWAYS true.

Trump makes a joke about taking anxiety drugs here saying “I don’t have time to be depressed.” There’s actually a lot of wisdom in that. Anxiety/depression can often be a symptom of inaction/lack of purpose. When you’re busy moving, it can burn off.

She’s clearly dressed and made up to look her best, walks towards the cameras at the perfect angle, immediately stops her conversation to answer the question, is not at all surprised they’re there (why would they be, she’s not a celebrity).

@elonmusk @ImKingGinger Like, easy example, someone wants to talk to a therapist, but they want a real human, not a clanker. How would you get that therapist to work when they have high income and don’t need to? Do they just charge a lot more? Is that human service now unaffordable?

@elonmusk @ImKingGinger What happens if I need a human to do something IRL that ai/robots aren’t good at or aren’t as good as humans at? Would they just be prohibitively expensive? Or why would any humans want work at all, especially if the job in question is unpleasant or dangerous?

If everyone gets a million dollars. No one has a million dollars. I'm not sure why no one understands this.

Or what if child mark got killed by a villian or kaiju or something? More kids still makes more sense for redundancy.

Sometimes a little task multitasking, but often its easier and more productive to just do one thing at a time

@shelleddiva Text communication is two-dimensional. You can edit and say what you mean to say, no social cues or facial expressions or eye contact or not thinking of the right thing to say quickly in time.

i wonder if autistic people prefer text communication (whether literal texts or social media) because it automatically creates a transcript where the specific information shared can’t be denied/can be directly referenced if needed. in other words, receipts.
