@SonsofJohnnieLe @SFGiants @OracleParkSF They can. The don't want to pay to deter them. "Falconry was a promising solution, but was deemed too expensive — $8,000 a game, the Mercury News reported in 2016."

@Raymo72135972 @HealthRanger Yes. Oceans absorb CO₂ chemically, and plants and phytoplankton use it in photosynthesis (just to name a few). That’s basic carbon cycle science.

In light of today's historic EPA decision to roll back the "endangerment" finding, it's worth reminding all the idiotic climate cultists that carbon dioxide is necessary for photosynthesis. Yes, this means ALL your food crops need CO2 to grow. So do all the rainforest trees, the flowers for pollinators, and aquatic ecosystems, where sunlight and photosynthesis are critical for the entire food web. If you think CO2 is bad for Earth, you are an actual idiot. If you support "de-carbonization" of the atmosphere, you are a suicidal idiot, because YOU are made of carbon, and it is all of you who will perish if you eliminate CO2 from the atmosphere. (Photosynthesis also produces the oxygen you breathe, so no CO2 in the atmosphere means no breathable oxygen before long, and you all die.) The war on carbon has always been a war on life. Today the EPA actually did something that's PRO-EARTH and PRO-HUMAN by ending the anti-carbon madness pushed by scientifically illiterate climate cultists who have literally spend the last several decades trying to suicide the entire human race.

@thepatwalls @levelsio You might consider switching to rosuvastatin (Crestor) instead of atorvastatin. Among its advantages, rosuvastatin is more potent at lowering LDL cholesterol on a milligram-for-milligram basis and generally has fewer clinically significant drug interactions.

yes, crazy family history. my dad had a widowmaker at ~59, totally fit. and his mother in 50s ben bader, (while i dont know his situation only read online articles), had it happen in his 20s. i read in some online comment that it happened to his grandfather too at an early age (conjecture but it triggered me to see doctors) fucked genetics

I am officially old. Going on a statin at 35. Got all my labs done and I'm genetically fucked, I have a very high chance of having a heart attack prematurely at some point in my life. For anyone that has parents, grandparents, or relatives with heart disease, go get tested!

Hearing that Ben Bader died of a natural heart attack is a wake up call. It runs in my family too, dad almost died before 60. When that happened, I got labs done and doctors told me I need to be on a statin at 35. I am 35 this year. Making that doctor's appointment asap. Tweeting for a little accountability on myself since i'd been putting it off. RIP Ben Bader 💔

How a $1 Trillion Drug Got it Wrong 1/6) Today’s video on statins (linked below) dives into several key studies you need to understand, along with some provocative demonstrations that will definitely stick in your brain. But in this short thread, let’s quickly review a few major takeaways...

@thepatwalls If it wasn’t included, ask to have Lipoprotein(a) checked. It’s an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease and can influence how aggressively LDL should be treated with statins or other therapies, alongside lifestyle changes.

This brand is printing $150k+/month LITERALLY selling vibrators by positioning them as something completely different. And it's the most creative product positioning I've seen in years. They're not marketing it as a s*x toy. They're positioning it as a solution for pelvic discomfort, relaxation, better sleep, and stress relief for older women. Same product. Completely different angle. Different market. The most genius thing about it is that they took a product from one niche and adapted it to solve pain points in a proven market. They launched in June with 7 active ads. Scaled to 1,000+ ads last month. Currently running 458 active ads. 88k+ visitors in August alone. Probably 100k-200k total. At 3% conversion and $50 price point, that's $150k/month. Over $1M/year. And they're only using ONE angle. I ran this through ChatGPT Deep Research and found 10+ alternative angles for the same product: beauty boost for women in their 30s, holistic wellness, migraine relief, and self-care empowerment. You don't stumble into winning products. You create them by positioning the same product differently. Find a market with a problem. Position your product as the solution. Test angles until one sticks. Then scale aggressively.

I solely wear Alo Yoga shorts, they're soft, light weight, and just nice But they're made of polyester I've tried a lot of 100% cotton shorts, they're generally NOT soft, they're very heavy, and they're just not comfortable to wear But now Alo has come out with new shorts that don't have polyester, and they're also not heavy: they're 47% Modal, 47% Cotton, 6% Elastane What's Modal? "Modal is made from beech tree pulp, which is a renewable resource used to produce modal fabric, a semi-synthetic textile known for its softness, breathability, and eco-friendly properties. The process involves harvesting beech trees, extracting cellulose from the wood pulp, and then chemically processing it to create the modal fibers. Modal is a form of rayon, but it is slightly more durable and flexible and requires fewer harsh chemicals in its production process. " Obviously it's still semi-synthetic, but I think/hope it's better for my balls! For women there's also Modal leggings coming out now!

Someone needs to invent cotton yoga shorts/leggings Cause rn they are polyester and leak microplastics into the most high absorption area: genitals That ends up disrupting the hormonal system and can cause infertility Should be priority for a society fighting low birth rates!

@DannyDigitalSZN @SFGiants It looks nice Daniel. It’s certainly an interesting decision to do the bobblehead giveaway against LA. Most will probably be thrown out or decapitated, and it’s not like it’s necessary to give away bobbleheads when the stadium will be (mostly) full anyway.

Warriors fall under .500 again, 22-23 ... they're clearly not as good as the Lakers. Mostly because of AD. There are injury issues, but the results are what decides this. The Warriors are just not as good.
