Seeking the narrow path of truth, revealed by logic and reason, illuminated by grace, toward a virtuous, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

@Thatbrian Did you also remove the book of James from your Bible? "So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead." James 2:17

The Gospel of Jesus, The Christ, preached by the Apostle Paul, is the only Gospel. Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Roman Catholics, and several other groups reject it, either completely, or in part. They blend faith and works, at best, and have a works-based "gospel" at worst. Their fate, according to Paul: "I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!"

@BibleInContext1 Please stop with the lies. The roots of the rosary go back to the Desert Fathers in the 4th century.

The rosary is New Age mysticism that was born out of occult deception! Roman Catholics are taught that the rosary is meditating on the scripture, but this is only what appears at the surface!

@LifeSite NY bishop speaks with giddiness of NBA basketball during, ostensibly, a homily. Detroit bishop praises a muslim building effusively as a sacred place. If not Her bishops, who speaks so glowingly and with such love for the Catholic Church? Who?

Detroit's Archbishop Weisenburger BLASTED for claiming that all churches, mosques and synagogues are sacred places. “This is a truly wonderful and sacred place… a place that I believe will bring all of humanity into deeper communion with our one God.”

@PeteThamel The board has to go, especially Vassar, but both Kevin Guskiewicz and Jason Batt displayed a remarkable lack of character in how quickly they folded their tents and turned tail. We need to find talented leaders, but those with the character needed to stand and fight for MSU.

Strong Tom Izzo comments, which reflect recent controversies with MSU’s Board of Trustees. “I can’t stand what’s going on. I’ve had it…… We’ve just lost the best president that may have ever been here, one of the best….I’m very upset about it. I’m sick of it….. What happened with our president…was ridiculous…… I’m ashamed, I’m disgusted. Hurt.”

My boomer neighbor refinanced his house three times. Pulled out $340,000 in equity over the years. Traveled. Renovated. Lived well. Now he’s 74 and the mortgage isn’t paid off. He’s counting on Social Security to cover the difference. Social Security that my paycheck funds every two weeks. He spent his equity. Now he needs mine.

Former atheist says Jesus Christ appeared to him in a dream as he hung off the edge of a cliff, crying for help. He didn’t understand the dream when he woke up. He figured it out later. But once he did, he could no longer remain an atheist. DR. SY GARTE: “I was hanging from the edge of a cliff, terrified. I didn’t know what to do, and I couldn’t climb up.” “I was holding on with my hands, and I screamed out, ‘Help. Help.’ I didn’t know who I was calling to. I just said, ‘Help, help.’ And I heard a voice say, ‘Just let go.’ And I said, ‘What? What? I fall down?’” “And the voice said, ‘Just let go.’ So I finally said, ‘Well, okay.’ So I let go. And the moment I let go, the entire landscape turned 90 degrees. And instead of hanging from a cliff, I was lying on the ground.” “And there was a man whose voice I had heard standing there. That was the man who said, ‘Just let go.’ I woke up, and I was like, ‘Whoa, what was that?’ I didn’t know what he meant by ‘just let go.’ I didn’t know who it was.” “Eventually, I found out that the man was Jesus Christ. And what I had to let go of was all the baggage that was in my life that was absolutely blocking me from even considering the idea of a God.”

@HumbleFlow The benevolent monarch truly is the most optimum form of government. The downside is his progeny, with whose rule more often than not comes tyrrany.

Lara Logan just broke down a pattern that hits different once you see it. They keep creating problems that can never actually be solved: racism that’s “unconscious,” masculinity as inherently toxic, CO2 as the enemy even though we breathe it out, and differences turned into permanent grievances. The goal? Issues without end. Skin color can’t change. Breathing can’t stop. Masculine instinct doesn’t vanish. So the problems stay… and so does the control. It’s not about fixing anything. It’s about keeping the fight alive so we stay divided and easier to manage. Once you spot the tactic, everything gets clearer. What “unsolvable problem” have you noticed getting pushed the hardest lately?

@BamaSaltyMarine Great idea! I always liked the "red beans and rice for free" plan. Free for everyone. Think about it. It's free so there's no reason to hoard. Want some sausage or ham in your red beans and rice? Get a job.

If MREs are good enough for our troops, why not for welfare? What if EBT was replaced with monthly MRE deliveries, 8 cases per person. No misuse. No luxury. Just food. Needs met. Problem solved!

How? In 1878 group of nuns in Santa Fe New Mexico prayed a novena to St. Joseph for a staircase. A mysterious carpenter showed up alone, built a 33-step spiral staircase with no visible support, no nails, refused payment, and then disappeared. Engineers are still baffled by it.
