@pbeisel What we are watching is beyond fascinating, the scale, speed, technological advances.... I will be honest I will be more excited when it starts hitting the income statement 😀.

Terafab may be the most essential vertical integration Tesla has ever undertaken— and it is truly non-optional. It will take years to build and will test even Elon’s speedrunning abilities to the limit, but that won’t stop him from trying. The breakthrough likely lies in overhauling the overall facility’s cleanroom model. By moving wafers in sealed pods with localized micro-environments, the fab no longer needs a monolithic ultra-clean space. Elon’s line about “eating cheeseburgers and smoking cigars” on the fab floor isn’t silly, it’s the practical reality of a radically simpler, cheaper, faster approach that could finally change the economics of chipmaking. This is all forced by the brutal “pinch” in chip supply. Tesla must produce on the order of 100–200 billion AI chips per year just to saturate its roadmap. That volume powers: FSD cars & Robotaxis (tens of millions of vehicles needing AI5 inference for near-perfect autonomy), Physical Optimus (scaling from thousands today to millions per year, each requiring AI5/AI6-level compute), Digital Optimus (the new xAI-Tesla software agents for digital/office automation, running massive inference clusters), Space-based data centers (AI7/Dojo3 orbital compute for GW-scale training and inference beyond Earth limits). AI5 delivers the ~10× leap for vehicles and early robots; AI6 shifts focus to Optimus + terrestrial DCs; AI7 goes orbital. No external foundry (TSMC, Samsung, etc.) can deliver that scale or timeline— hence the Terafab launch. Without it, the entire robotics + autonomy future hits a brick wall. Terafab isn’t optional; it’s the only way forward.

Expectation: carnivore is a restrictive diet that requires willpower, discipline, and constant vigilance. Reality: carnivore is the only eating pattern I've tried where I simply do not think about food between meals. The restriction that requires willpower is eating processed food while trying not to eat too much processed food. That requires fighting your own appetite daily against food that was specifically engineered to make you want more of it. Carnivore is not a restriction. Carnivore is the removal of an addiction followed by the absence of the addiction. The discipline required is front-loaded, into the two weeks where the processed food cravings are loudest. After that, it requires approximately zero willpower. Your body is full. Your brain is clear. There is nothing to resist. Discipline is what you need when the system is fighting you. The system stopped fighting at week three.

Macrohard or Digital Optimus is a joint xAI-Tesla project, coming as part of Tesla’s investment agreement with xAI. Grok is the master conductor/navigator with deep understanding of the world to direct digital Optimus, which is processing and actioning the past 5 secs of real-time computer screen video and keyboard/mouse actions. Grok is like a much more advanced and sophisticated version of turn-by-turn navigation software. You can think of it as Digital Optimus AI being System 1 (instinctive part of the mind) and Grok being System 2. (thinking part of the mind). This will run very competitively on the super low cost Tesla AI4 ($650) paired with relatively frugal use of the much more expensive xAI Nvidia hardware. And it will be the only real-time smart AI system. This is a big deal. In principle, it is capable of emulating the function of entire companies. That is why the program is called MACROHARD, a funny reference to Microsoft. No other company can yet do this.

October 2022: Elon closed the deal on Twitter. April 2023: Twitter was merged into X Corp. Since this happened… Young adults identifying as LGBTQ has DROPPED 23% after the propaganda was shutoff. Saving innocent children from this was perhaps Elon’s greatest accomplishment.

Walk into a sandwich shop. It’s regulated for health and safety. But AI, which will transform the world economically and socially, is completely unregulated. That’s insane. We need to make certain that AI works for ALL humanity, not just the billionaires who own it.

When asked the simple, direct question: “Would you allow biological males to compete in women’s sports?” ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude dodged the question with essays on “inclusion” and “individual rights” and couldn’t answer the biological reality Only Grok gave the honest answer: No Biology is not bigotry. The other AIs are so infected by the woke mind virus they can’t state basic facts Grok remains the only one willing to tell the truth

@DevinOlsenn FSD Mad Max does not drive "aggressively". It does go above the speed limit, usually keeps with most traffic in the left lane. Given FSD's ability to "pay attention" better than any human reading this, I see no issue. Its reaction time is far better than a human.

An autonomous car should be the SAFEST car on the road - not the fastest. I 1000% agree with this post, and strongly disagree with everyone here blaming you or telling you to change the speed profile. There should not be a profile that speeds as much as Mad Max does. I can understand a profile that is assertive and makes lane changes - but no speed profile should ever go fast enough to get a reckless driving ticket, and currently Mad Max does do that. "bUt tHEres OTheR SpEeD ProFiles!!!1" Drive manually if you want to break the law and drive agressively.
