@WhiteHouse Did they agree to inspections? If they did, they should be allowed to enrich uranium for legal purposes and that barrier to peace should be removed. Is Israel being inspected? Hell no. Rules must apply to all countries, not just our so-called enemies.

Vice President JD Vance gives an update in Pakistan: "The simple fact is that we need to see an affirmative commitment that they will not seek a nuclear weapon, and they will not seek the tools that would enable them to quickly achieve a nuclear weapon."

@QBCCIntegrity Well, 1 trillion in debt. The welfare state must continue so they'll go where the money is.

BREAKING: Australian PM Albanese vows to win your vote through extensive cost-of-living “relief” measures, including “intergenerational rebalancing” If you’re over 35, life is about to get more expensive as the PM seeks to make up for lost ground over the past 4 years with “populist policy positions” through taxation on wealth accumulated to pay for the promises - none of which lower immigration rates though…

@OMGTheMess Well the country is now 1 trillion in debt, and this impacts about 0.5 % of the population. It's a useless measure that won't make a difference as most of these families wouldn't use child care anyway

@tommorris32 @sydneyswans It would require Collingwood to travel so clearly won't be allowed. They even got to play Fremantle in Adelaide! Flying to Perth is just too far for them.

South Australian premier Peter Malinauskas told the @sydneyswans Gather Round Breakfast that he thinks it’s a terrible idea if the AFL hands an 18-team Opening Round to the northern states. “How many people are going to watch St Kilda play Freo at Engie Stadium? There’d be 15 people there,” Malinauskas said. Sydney chairman Andrew Pridham, who was on the same panel, replied: “There’s always only 15 people at Saints games!” South Australia’s view is that a northern states round would dilute Gather Round. Plenty of club CEOs & presidents in the room, + Tom Harley from the AFL. @1116sen @AFLNation

My liberal friends all dismiss Pete Hegseth as a “Fox News clown” And yet, in barely more than a year, recruiting is soaring and he has overseen four flawless and very complex operations. Midnight Hammer Venezuela Iran Pilot rescue Hats off to this guy.

Should a Wildcard win count as a ‘finals’ win? The AFL is calling it ‘Wildcard Finals Round’… describing it as “an expanded finals series.” Eg - if Essendon finishes 9th in 2026 and win to progress to the top-eight, is their finals drought over?
Mitch Cleary@cleary_mitch

Clubs have been informed the AFL is introducing Wildcard Weekend for 2026. 7th v 10th 8th v 9th To be played on the weekend of the current pre-finals bye. Essentially the finals is expanding to a 10-team structure @7NewsMelbourne @7AFL

@superfooty Hopefully Merrett gone at years end, as for Alexandria I'd be more concerned about being married to someone that yearly is looking for better. Your best years way past you, and I can see Zach updating sooner rather than later. It's in his nature and I'd be worried if I were YOU!

Footy’s most perplexing contract saga took another bizarre turn on Sunday night when its main protagonist, Zach Merrett, truly pulled his finger out for the first time this season, writes Jon Ralph. OPINION 👉 bit.ly/47KkZQh

@James_K_04 @Socceroos Good call to stay away. Cameroon fielding just 1/11 from their last competitive match, Socceroos were 9/11 of their best. We won from sloppy defending and I didn't see any flair from the Aussies. The ground looked poor as well

@AFL @CalTwomey @JoshGabelich It’s not overly clear cut. Entirely depends on how players grow and develop. Eags have taken 7 top 20 picks in last 4 drafts and essendon have taken 6. Just depends on who picked better and development. Jury is still out imo.

So, here's what happened in Round Two - Everyone is injured and it is someone's fault - Patrick Voss is public enemy number one for being a meanie - Charlie Curnow can't play football anymore because he was beaten - Timekeepers don't know how to count - And there is no hope for any bottom-four sides already. This is the AFL Media at the moment, and I am tired of them already

I am a Democrat. I served in the Clinton administration. I did not vote for Donald Trump and am highly unlikely to support him or his acolytes in the future. I also have serious disagreements with many of the Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policies. But it is profoundly disturbing that a growing segment of the far left appears to be almost rooting for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and other forces fundamentally opposed to the United States and our allies. This seems to reflects a corrosive strain of anti-Americanism, dressed up in postcolonial theory, that risks blinding us to the moral realities of our world and the nature of our adversaries.
