And refusing a drink? That’s not really part of our culture — here, people pour one for you. This isn’t hostility. It’s just 1,500 years of daily life. And we have no plans to change it. @TaylorRMarshall My Boomer parents divorced. They had over 6 kids. The last two / younger ones, were so disoriented from the divorce they faired very badly in life. The consideration they show for new family is flabbergasting. They could have kept their OG family intact by doing that

My wife was 22 and I was 23 when we married. We eventually had 8 children. Our 20s were marked by Boomer generation “advisors” at the grocery store, events, restaurants, and stores WARNING us not to have more children. They openly pitied us for having 3+ children. Boomer women thought my wife was being oppressed by her husband. At an Outback, a man openly told me “I feel sorry for you for having those kids.” Many Boomers were brainwashed to perceive having children “as a bad thing.” Worst of all, they felt empowered to insult a young couple in the presence of our children. Meanwhile, these people were in favor of importing the entire Third World into America for the sake of GDP. What a strange moment in American history.

I’m paying close to $300 a tank to run my truck. And that’s not including gas for farm activity. I have a farm. I can’t haul any livestock ANYWHERE. Neither can my neighbors who have cattle. One of them sold all his cattle and he’s out of the business. I know many farmers who grow hay, wheat, pumpkin, corn, cattle and they’re going under. People do not understand how much trouble we are in as a country.

When I was buying a house many years ago, I went to see a nice house at the end of a culdesac. Walked in th door and was slapped in the face with an almost visible curry smell. That smell is never ever coming out. It’s in the walls, carpet, frame, insulation, everything. Only another Indian is buying that house.

I don't understand why everyone dreads long flights so much. I feel like I change the trajectory of my life every time I take a 20-hour flight across the world. I sit on my computer, listen to podcasts, write, work, introspect, and plan my next season of life (usually fueled by a fair amount of caffeine). By the end of it, I've produced a bunch of content, clarified my vision, and know the exact moves that will get me to the next level. Looking back, long flights often end up being the most transformational days of my year. I look forward to them every time I go traveling for this reason.

I feel so disgusted with the generational vibe that told us that having kids wasn’t a priority and that being a mom was kind of a lesser path. Dealing right now with someone close to me who completely missed the life she should have had, which would have made her very happy— as a mom of a bunch of kids. She believed the social justice messages and made other choices. Materialistic superficial choices btw. She’s traveled extensively and has fancy appliances and a nice (huge, empty) house — and a bunch of social justice bona fides. She was misled. This isn’t someone who was always a bit salty and never wanted kids. She wanted them, but it seemed lame and selfish and not as important as her SJW pursuits. (Which amounted to what? Nothing. The whole thing was a vibe.) I have the same life advice.
