Following JTAG scraping video @HackingThings posted recently. What if there is RAM on top? Well, I just tried another approach and it also works 😉

Hardware hackers, what's your favourite type of (enameled) micro-soldering wire?

Happy 30th birthday, DOOM 🎉 Back in my good old days working for Blackmagic Design, we actually ported this masterpiece to Pocket Cinema Camera (Xilinx MicroBlaze Soft CPU)😎

We are pleased to announce that the U.S. Court of Appeals has further upheld the initial court’s ruling of copyright fair use in Corellium’s favor. This is a big win for the security community and technology innovators. news.bloomberglaw.com/ip-law/apple-f…

@JohnHedge Actually there is an easier way now. I have started to use special WYLIE/RELIFE pads instead of bending magnet wire. Lot more convenient if you need to do that often 😁

@cr1901 @sirus It is not a coincidence and some deeper pads also routed to the edge (TDO,RTCK). See on a right where bottom layer is sanded (too much on a edge, sorry). Overall you are right, I exploit specifics of this package design 😁

@sirus >xrays for bond points Is it a coincidence in the video that the exposed traces (that go to the bond wires) line up neatly with balls on the edge, or does this approach of heating up the package side to expose traces in the pkg only work b/c the JTAG balls are on the edge?

@Alex_Salikov @HackingThings This is the tool I wrote to work with ICE-Pick over JLink. It is possible to use OpenOCD instead, but I wanted something lightweight 😁
