@justlarf

love a good debate and a great laugh but I’m dyslexic so hold the your dumb spell check comments unless they are at least a little witty

Dropped my son at kindergarten today. Tough morning so I sat with him a while, but I had to leave for work. He cried until a teacher helped get him in class. I do this to earn a couple hundred bucks and give half to the government. I’d like to return my subscription to feminism.

Prep Doctors Corp. in Mississauga is posting a TFW job for a mental health counsellor at $38.00/hr. One wonders what specific recruitment efforts they've made locally that weren't enough to fill this role. Does the LMIA application truly demonstrate a lack of available Canadian workers for this position? Share this with any Canadians you know who might qualify to help get them jobs, and post it to communities on Facebook or X so more can apply. Repost to help more Canadians see this. More resources in the replies. jobwatchcanada.com/job/49173291

@mapleblooded I’m so confused is this a hard luck story about someone who stole money and then thought they could go into a country and not get arrested?

Canadian green card Boomer arrested for tax evasion and deported from the US. CTV has everyone in his family about this “tragedy” crying on camera. Always spotlighting the most insane outlier circumstances as if this could happen to anyone.

@justlarf @guyfelicella He isn’t influential, he and his supporters might think that but his actual impact is limited. He’s largely ineffective and increasingly irrelevant. While he may have swayed opinion in the past, that influence has faded; now he’s more noise than substance, like a mosquito🦟

Canada’s Mark Carney ranked #2 on the TIME 100… right behind the Pope. 🇨🇦 But hey… whatever you do, don’t let Pierre Poilievre see this. Wouldn’t want him finding out what credibility looks like 🤭

@acoyne Canada joining the EU to ‘save the country’ is like parents having a baby to save their failing marriage. It’s not a solution, it’s just creating a bigger mess for the kid (or in this case, Canadians) to clean up later.

@sea_jay17 @RMapleCan @TimedRome7264 My point isn’t which side is better. My point is Jack Layton wanted his party to lead the country. Jagmeet Singh destroyed his party. We shouldn’t use tax dollars to repair something he fully destroyed.

THIS IS CANADA 🇨🇦 The NDP lost its party status and funding because they have less than 12 MPs. The Liberals, CPC and Bloc Québécois agreed to reallocate some of their parliamentary funding to the NDP. See why I am PROUD TO BE CANADIAN? Despite our differences, we still value democracy and diversity. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

The cash-strapped federal NDP is getting a $670,000 financial boost. Members of the other main political parties on the Board of Internal Economy have decided to grant the parliamentary funds, even though the NDP does not have official party status. toronto.citynews.ca/2026/04/15/ndp…

Companies aren’t checking if you can afford something, they’re using every scrap of your data to figure out how badly you need it right now… and how much they can squeeze out of your account today. They price based on desperation, not fairness. I’m no NDP fan, but new leader Avi Lewis is pushing legislation to ban this “surveillance pricing” across Canada. Legacy media barely touched it dodging the topic with every other question under the sun. This will hits regular people hard. We need to talk about it.

On February 28th, Trump started bombing Iran. No coalition. No allies. No plan. Today, 54 countries met in Paris to clean up his mess. Britain. France. Germany. Australia. Iraq. Indonesia. South Korea. Norway. Singapore. Over a billion people in the room. Not invited: the United States. Mine-clearing drones. Naval escorts. Warning systems. Adult things. Meanwhile Trump blockaded Iranian ports alone and called it victory. A man who can’t organize a cabinet. Can’t keep a room. Handed the most powerful military on earth. And still ended up eating alone 😂. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

@mjourneay @prairiecentrist And even if there was somebody to take the 75% of our products , they wouldn’t be right next-door. They’d be across an ocean thus much more expensive to get to.

@prairiecentrist Carney is wrong we cannot change our geography. The US is the world‘s largest economy it absorbs 75% of our products who are we gonna pivot to? Who is going to take 75% of our products other than the US a deal must be done or we are dead.

Talk to any American involved in this file. They all say the same thing regardless if they are Democrat, Republican, a non-partisan bureaucrat. They don't want to end supply management, they don't more quota access, they just want us to live up to the existing agreement.
