The @googlechrome just wrapped a week of tech talks and workshops on the latest AI tools, trips, tricks, and trepidations, and a common theme I heard across it all was... change! Early in my career, I learned that, “the only constant is change, so learn to embrace it.” Here’s how I visualize this moment of change for myself about AI, with AI (h/t Gemini🍌) What I remind myself in moments of massive change is to check-in on where I’m at & what I’m feeling, that it’s A-Okay to be in different spots at different times, & try to just keep moving forward with curiosity and optimism. ✨😅

That's not a crazy thing to do as a research prototype thing that you specifically sign up for, but it's weird to have that embedded in the normal product experience. I've applied a zillion times for prototypes + never hear back, think this is just the normal product experience

Thanks so much for the quick reply! By ״research marathons״ I mean 2-4 hour deep-work sessions where I keep 2-3 panes open constantly: Right: Hebrew articles, research papers & PDFs (RTL) Left: Google Doc for notes + synthesis + Gemini live prompting Right now I lose the exact split layout every time I reopen Chrome. Saving the full layout (even per window) would be huge. As a Hebrew user, it would also be amazing if Split View had native RTL support - proper right alignment, text direction, and consistent behavior in both panes. Many of us do heavy research in Hebrew and this would make the experience feel truly native. Super excited about the feature and appreciate you relaying this!

Split view in Chrome really is phenomenal. I use it constantly for work. Spreadsheets, Miro boards, reconciling info between data sources -- infinite, convenient uses and zero window or tab management fuss.
