When I visit Delaney Hall, the immigrants detained there always talk about how much they value the American dream. They desire liberty and to return to work to provide for their families. They’re shocked that they can be stripped of due process and be put in a place like this—in what is supposed to be the land of the free.
Trump wants to strip any pathway to citizenship and belonging in America, and destroy the American dream. And he’s doing it in places like Delaney Hall.
NOW: Intense confrontations between Pro-ICE and Anti-ICE protesters outside Delaney Hall. Newark police has now set up barricades, separating two sides

🚨🚨🚨 Rioters in Newark just CAPTURED a vehicle trying to enter the Delaney Hall detention facility.
Contractors from the facility came out to defend their female colleagues and rioters used GATES to smash into the vehicle.
Pepper balls were deployed.
Yesterday I had the privilege of touring the floor at GMF Steel Group in Lakeland.
These folks take tremendous pride in their product — and this company provides outstanding, skilled manufacturing jobs.
These are the kind of jobs I’ll create more of as Governor.
Mass sit-in by singing anti ICE protesters outside Delaney Hall detention center, blocking operations while state police repeatedly order them: “Go behind the orange barricades!” (the designated free speech zone).
They all look the same… like losers.
What is happening at Delaney Hall is out of control. We need to shut the facility down, abolish ICE, ban the use of private prisons, and end this horrific mass deportation scheme so we can build a fair and welcoming immigration system.
It's time for the administration to deescalate the situation and stop this madness.
🚨THE REPUBLICAN PARTY OF FLORIDA IS PICKING YOUR CANDIDATES ILLEGALLY
The RPOF @FloridaGOP Rule 8 requires unanimous Executive Board approval plus 60% of the State Executive Committee for a contested primary endorsement.
Produce the minutes. Produce the vote tally.
No receipts, no mandate.
Blocking valid Republicans from the stage reeks of machine politics, not voter choice and the fix is in.
@TonyCaputo@News12NJ@LaurenDue12 The left was all in on "all women must be believed". Now it's all illegals must be believed. And the press runs with those lies.
NOW: "Who are you gonna shoot btch?" Anti-ICE protester shouts at ICE Agent holding a rifle, agents push people back releasing pepper balls as protester continues to scream "Why don't you go get your buddy with an ak47 to shoot me in the fkn face!"
@DavidJHarrisJr What does being a trump voter have to do with anything. Is that a trigger to commit violence in the trans community? That's one ugly male human being.
🚨BREAKING: A manager at a local diner asked ICE agents for a warrant before they searched a private areas of the business… and their response… slamming him to the ground, and putting a knee in his back, leaving him injured.
Because apparently exercising your constitutional rights is now being treated like obstruction.
According to witnesses, ICE agents were chasing someone who ran into the restaurant after a traffic stop. The manager reportedly told them they could not just storm through the kitchen without judicial authorization.
Because the Fourth Amendment is still a thing… even though ICE agents keep pretending it isn’t.
Law enforcement cannot just search private areas of a business because they feel like it. A kitchen, in a restaurant, is not a public space.
When agents do not have consent, exigent circumstances, or a valid warrant signed by a judge… then managers have every right to question that search.
That is literally how constitutional protections work.
And the fact that the manager was injured, after asserting those rights, should outrage everyone.
Rights either apply to everyone… or they are not rights at all.
🚨Antifa agitators ATTACKED us outside of Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey.
While covering the riots, one of the ANTIFA organizers approached us demanding our names. When we refused he became aggressive and we quickly found ourselves cornered by ANTIFA. The situation escalated with the rioters ripping at our shirts and limbs trying to pull us into their mob. The main attacker even stole our microphone and slammed our phone.
When it mattered most ICE agents stepped up and met the main assailant with a face full of pepper spray. The ICE agents then used vehicles to distract the ANTIFA mob and bought us enough time to escape on foot.
ICE agents have been left high and dry by the state of New Jersey and are being forced to perform the duties of police officers with the Newark police chief refusing to deploy officers to the area. At what point is this declared an unlawful demonstration?
@RepGregoryMeeks Do these people have no other causes? Why not volunteer to help disabled people, clean up the community, feed the hungry, etc. Guess those don't pay as well as protesting ICE. Keep your fake moral outrage fools.
Noem let this happen in Minneapolis. Now Mullin’s letting it happen in Newark. Protesters are still being met with violence, and reports from Delaney Hall paint a disturbing picture of inhumane treatment toward immigrants in detention. This is not immigration enforcement, it’s abuse of power.
