Without a doubt. And the particular variety I have tends to be incredibly painful, more painful than a ludicrous amount of opiates can even properly address, but radiation in particular helped a lot. I'm fairly certain if I had something more conventional I would be fine now, it looked like a more common and lesser type of cancer initially, so they didn't take more drastic action until later. I also am largely to blame for not being more proactive and not complaining more. If you get a diagnosis do not waste time, if you're already healthy opt for the more aggressive treatment, and you don't need to act tough for your doctors, they will not be impressed. This is my advice. I had great doctors but they are just people, not gods. You are responsible for giving them useful info and getting things moving.

@DavidWolfe Have you ever lived in or visited a golf course/country club community? There are several in my area, everyone there is ancient. They're basically the last stop before hospice. This is not a useful statistic without accounting for that.

He put his time in, didn't self doxx, I don't care if he sells out as long as he makes a bunch of money. He deserves it.
