Thank you @TheBitcoinConf for letting me sneak fellow Bitcoiner @adriangrenier on stage to announce that Self Custody is becoming a TV series! This is about the people inside this movement told in a way only a culture defining show can. Not just for Bitcoiners. Great storytelling is how we bring the next wave into our world. Great sharing a stage with King of Cringe the champ @HenryCejudo and Director Garrett Patten. Bitcoin is going to Hollywood!

@sunny051488 I have a hard time trusting past price action to the point of to being on the sidelines waiting for low prices instead of being long and calm.

Saylor is promoting Hermetica with STRC. It was in his Bitcoin Conference presentation too. Hermetica issues their USDh stablecoin and their sUSDh staking token on ... wait for it ... Bitcoin layer 1 using Runes protocol. Yes, Saylor is promoting Runes tokens on bitcoin. You know, the same Runes protocol that's been consuming ~40-50% of transaction volume for the past two years, not for bitcoin, but for memecoins and, now, Saylor's beloved STRC. And guess who is Hermetica's lead investor? David Bailey's UTXO Management. It's really difficult for me to not blow a gasket right now.
Hermetica@HermeticaFi

Watch the STRC backing climb. stUSDh coming soon, but allocations to STRC are already here.

@LukeDashjr @Wilki_Adam @tanpukunokami You are a no nonsense guy Luke. This is rough to hear for most people and is likely why many men aren't starting families... As they are either unable or unwilling to find the way.

A Japanese parent's tweet just blew up on X. It pretty much sums up why Japan's birthrate keeps falling. The post: "Daycare costs me ¥80,000 a month ($530). Add a second kid and it jumps to ¥120,000. A second child? Yeah, no thanks." The replies were brutal: "Work penalty + parenting penalty." "The more you earn, the more it hurts." How daycare actually works in Japan: ∙ Fees scale with household income — not flat ∙ High earners (¥9M/year+, around $60K) can pay ¥80,000/month per kid ∙ Ages 0–2 are the priciest. 3–5 have been free since 2019. ∙ The gap between cities can hit ¥1M ($6,500) per kid, per year ∙ Tokyo made the first child free in Sept 2025. Almost no one else has. A couple making $60–80K/year already gets hammered by income tax, residence tax, and social insurance. Tack on $6,500/year per kid in daycare, and a lot of families just give up on a second one — or pull back at work. Tokyo keeps calling the falling birthrate "a national crisis." The system keeps making parenting feel like a punishment for the people who work hardest. The top reply: "Just make daycare fees the same nationwide. Please."

It's pretty rich that the guy who isn't able to confirm or deny visiting Epstein's Island is warning people about reputational dangers, while smearing a thoroughly researched and meticulously sourced article and its author. I say like with Article 1, when Adam was doing this exact same thing: anyone reading the article will have questions as to why Adam is being aggressively dishonest like this.

BREAKING NEWS: Mayo Clinic is offering me an "Executive Director" position for up to $400k 😃 Oh and they're not the only one. My email inbox is suddenly filling up with Executive job offers from several big Pharmaceutical companies. So this is what I get for helping 9000+ Cancer patients with Ivermectin & Mebendazole and leading the largest Ivermectin Cancer Project in the world? After talking about a New Florida Cancer Clinic? 🤔 If they can't sabotage me, they'll just buy me out? 💵 I have to admit, it is mildly amusing. Ten years ago, I may have jumped at something like this. It's almost tailor made for me. But at this stage of my life...can't say I felt even a hint of temptation. They really don't know me very well 😃 Sorry, Mayo Clinic. I'm building a Cancer Center in Florida. It's going to be a bit different from yours. 😉

Another excellent piece of journalism by @hodlonaut. My gut tells me that this is a classical example of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." I believe Newberry set out with the best of intentions to create Brink. And then human fallibility kicked in and we saw all the classic patterns of abuse of trust and power leading to erosion of meritocracy, objectivity, and integrity. Those who don't acknowledge what this article exposes further reveal how hard the truth can be to admit. Those who acknowledge it but deny its importance misunderstand how crucial integrity, merit, and openness are to Bitcoin over the long term.

Season 1, Episode 4: THE ONE WHERE RAPHAEL ZAGURY, A CLOSE TETHER ASSOCIATE, IS INSTALLED AS AN “INDEPENDENT” DIRECTOR AT TETHER’S SPAC, XXI/$CEP I see that our former employee Raphael Zagury @alphazeta has been named an “independent director” at Cantor Fitzgerald’s (@cantorfitzgerld @howardlutnick) Tether-funded Bitcoin SPAC, Twenty One Capital (NASDAQ: $CEP). [1] How can Zagury be “independent” when he leads Elektron Energy (per his LinkedIn) and Proton Management, two companies with close ties to @tether? In July 2024, while Zagury was still Swan’s CIO and Head of Mining, Zagury sent a detailed business plan to Giancarlo Devasini, Zachary Lyons (Tether’s Deputy CIO, and another director at XXI/$CEP), @PaoloArdoino, San Naidoo (then a Swan Investment Director), and Michael Alexander “Alex” Holmes @trojan81 (then Swan’s Head of Mining BD) outlining how they would use Elektron to gut the Swan/Tether mining joint venture 2040. Zagury’ proposed plan shows Tether becoming a majority shareholder of Elektron. Not sure how a director of XXI/$CEP can be “independent” if he’s the CEO of a company deeply enmeshed with Tether. Meanwhile, Tether-controlled Northern Data just signed a $200M agreement to sell its mining arm to an unnamed buyer, likely Elektron Energy LP. Not sure who controls this Elektron entity (there are several recently formed “Elektron”-named related entities; check them out in the BVI, Delaware, and Wyoming), but if Tether has any stake in it, then it’s on every side of the Rumble-Northern Data-Elektron Energy deal, with Zagury right in the middle of it all. More detail here: x.com/coryklippsten/… Perhaps these questions are best answered by Twenty One’s law firm, @SkaddenArps, which also reps Tether. It would be interesting to know how the law firm that produced information showing Zagury’s ties to Tether also deemed him “independent.” For more on director independence, here’s Skadden themselves on the subject: skadden.com/insights/publi… Perhaps the most obvious question is how Zagury can serve as a director at all after his own notes from when he was Swan’s CIO show he stated that the “rain and hellfire need to start” and that the “team resignation and move with Tether needs to be on tandem,” adding “Confidentiality and IP- we would be exposed” and that they needed “Legal cover from Tether.” [2] Does CEP/$XXI really want a board member who schemed to start “rain and hellfire” against the company he served? Or is it not really Twenty One’s management making the decisions, but Devasini, who unilaterally controls Tether, and through Tether, CEP/$XXI? LOTS more to come. Hope you’re ready for the next episode… [1] The Twenty One Capital XXI/$CEP SPAC filing sec.gov/Archives/edgar… [2] @Protos coverage: ”Swan Bitcoin lawsuit targets former executives, implicates Tether” protos.com/swan-bitcoin-l…
