@TimurNegru We’ve been doing the Santander run into northern Spain for the last 3 years - great experience onboard and some fantastic places to explore around the region and into Galicia

Day one on the ferry to Spain. They’ve got live music, wine quizzes, Christmas crafts for kids, a crew show, morning stretch on deck and so on. Meanwhile Airlines charges you €12 for a soggy sandwich and tells you to sit down. The ferry cost the same as flying would’ve (€1,200 return for a family of 4). This is why we chose the 2-night ferry over the 2.5 hour flight. It’s not just transport, it’s actually part of the holiday. One more night at sea then we dock in Bilbao tomorrow morning.

A few tunes I played at The Matisse Club in Valencia, last Saturday night. Brilliant atmosphere and an incredibly friendly and passionate crowd. Thanks also to Dani and Shane for the invite as well as for their outstanding sets which kept the dancefloor packed all night.

So here's the thing - France is lovely if you're going on holiday. The Calais sites *are* hell on Earth. They feel like a war zone with hundreds of people in awful conditions under constant police harassment. We need safe routes so people can be processed & treated fairly.

SHERIFF'S COURT runs his second race in Britain this evening, at Windsor at 5.33. There is always a carnival atmosphere at this unique course. It looks like a tough race but we hope for another promising effort after his fourth place finish at Kempton last month.
