@ZitoSalena If by some miracle the GOP sweeps all three branches, the first priority of 2025 must be to mandate single day, in person voting on hand counted paper ballots in Federal elections. If they don't do that, nothing else matters.

A Tucker Carlson / Joe Kent ticket would steam roll anything Democrats or Republicans could bring. It's laughable when people try to argue this with me. Spend some time offline. Good looking, physically fit white men are back "in."

@Polymarket They're paying those people to film themselves doing chores, mopping floors, folding laundry, loading dishwashers. Not for content, for AI training data. They're paying you to teach the robot how to be you, so they don't have to pay you anymore.

Mark Levin is jewish. He is constantly starving for war so that Israel can expand its power. Of course, he wants to use the United States military to accomplish this. We must fight his wars for him. Anything less would be anti-semitic. When a White American mother challenges him on this, He suggests getting rid of her from her own country. Do you understand who you're dealing with?

@scottdelaney98 @ggreenwald You have no idea what Kent has leaked or if he even is a leaker. So how are you defining anything as “worse”? And if you claim to know anything about Ellsberg or whistleblowers in general. Why would you trust any claim our govt makes? They lie constantly…about everything

The Pentagon Papers were an internal historical analysis of U.S. involvement in Vietnam from the end of World War II to 1968. Ellsberg leaked them in 1971. Yes it was classified, but it wasn't then-current information. Yes, leaking current information is worse than leaking historical information. Both are bad, one is MUCH worse. Moron.

@scottdelaney98 @ggreenwald The core of your claim is that Kent leaked classified information. And you think that Ellsberg didn’t do anything “that bad”? Are you arguing in bad faith or are you a moron that doesn’t understand what the Pentagon Papers were? They were a giant leak from a whistleblower

If Biden or Kamala had won, and started a serious war with Iran, and asked Congress for $200 billion in the first 3 weeks, every single MAGA influencer would be calling them warmongers and demanding impeachment. Neocons would be happy, but the MAGA influencers would be enraged.
Cenk Uygur@cenkuygur

You should be absolutely furious about this $200 billion ask for the war. I guarantee you if you asked for $200 billion in health care or food for American people, you'd be laughed out of Congress. There's no money for that! But as soon as Israel asks, it'll fly through Congress.

@walterkirn A lot of unexplained clustering when trying to explain after the fact. It is almost always a selection effect, and artistic quality is subjective and thus subjectively selected

One of the puzzles I find myself mulling over -- too often -- is the question of why artistic genius springs up in geographic clusters rather than in some broad, roughly predictable way. So many great musical talents from Seattle all at once? Whatever may be behind this phenomenon, it doesn't seem to operate with AIs, whose outputs don't arrive in this irregular, qualitatively "lumpy" fashion.

The perceived cluster of so many musical talents from Seattle isn't artistic, it's business. Any given metropolitan area is going to be flush with talent. Those were just the artists at that time whose oeuvre was promoted by the music industry. That is not to say they aren't great talents, they are. But they are just the great talents who the industry decided to promote and pay. It happened in Chicago, Detroit, Memphis, Liverpool, you name it. At that time industry gatekeeping was nearly absolute, and a regional sound was more pronounced.

So ya wanna be a homeowner? Our home is <10 years old. The sewer line disconnected from the foundation & caused a 35 foot “belly.” AKA the toilets won’t flush anymore, because gravity. Insurance nor warranty will cover it. Cheapest quote was $25k. Tons of digging. Thankfully the builder is being a bro and covering half of it. Still in favor of owning, but the costs add up!

There's nothing you can do. From childhood through their entire formation, their educators, institutions, even many of their churches have told them that the planet is dying, there's too many people, and their careers and lifestyle are more important. It's been ingrained. Can't fix it.

Daniel Ellsberg produced the Pentagon Papers, he didn't just go on the radio and make the outrageous claim that the last thing JFK told him to keep us out of Vietnam. What exactly has Joe Kent produced? Nothing, so far as we know. Rumor has it he was being investigated for leaking classified information regarding ongoing operations in Iran The Pentagon Papers were historic in that they didn't say anything about then current operations and deployments, just the history of the war. Joe Kent is just trying to mitigate a future criminal prosecution for leaking of classified information related to a current military operation. Not even Ellsberg did anything that bad.

When Daniel Ellsberg released the Pentagon Papes showing that the US Government was systematically lying to the American public for years -- claiming they were close to winning the Vietnam War when they knew they could never win -- Ellsberg was subjected to the same vilification and smear campaign Kent is getting now. They accused Ellsberg of being a liar, a traitor, a Kremlin agent, and then tried to imprison him for life under the Espionage Act (they also broke into his psychoanalyst's office to depict him as a sexual deviant). But Ellsberg's revelations remain historic. Ellsberg is widely regarded as a hero. His warnings were proven right. And it changed the way that Americans understand their government and its wars.

@scottdelaney98 @Cernovich Brother I'm afraid you need to stop watching Fox News propaganda all day. Some outlets even state Trump has a 100% support on the war by it's MAGA base. Not even North Korea has a 100% approval rate on anything, yes North Korea. That's the level of crap this propaganda has.

Different factions in the White House leak their views to different outlets. Always been this way. Reading the news doesn’t make you informed. It’s a 360 degree psyop. Fact is the war is escalating. More units are being deployed. Boots on the ground is becoming more likely.

I have just spoken with the Emir of Qatar and President Trump following the strikes that hit gas production facilities in Iran and Qatar today. It is in our common interest to implement, without delay, a moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, particularly energy and water supply facilities. Civilian populations and their essential needs, as well as the security of energy supplies, must be protected from military escalation.

@Cernovich Anti-war MAGA is an exclusively online phenomenon that doesn't translate to the real world. 87-90% approval from MAGA Republicans for President Trump's Iran action puts the lie to the Chicken Little doomers online.

NEW: Family of a Texas teen loses it as judge sentences him to 25 years in prison for robbing a convenience store. Judge Raquel West was seen torching 18-year-old Caden James Fontenette before handing out the sentence. "There was a time some years ago that there really wasn't even a question... State's attorneys were recommending youthful offenders probation. Let's give everybody an opportunity..." West said. "You don't have a good likelihood of being successful if I were to put you on probation... I'm going to sentence you to a term of 25 years." Fontenette pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery for a 2025 incident where he and two others robbed a convenience store at gunpoint. The suspects were caught on camera assaulting the store clerk. Fontenette will likely be in his 40s when he is released from prison.
