Not sure why folks from across the political spectrum in the west are getting worked up over this.
Assimilation is something that locals living in first world non European nations and even the third worlders would expect in their homelands!
Funny how many indians are getting worked up about this expectation when they'd be the ones to get really pissed off when folks who migrated from a different Indian state with a different culture fail to assimilate.

1) It's not a stupid concept. It's expected by the local population even in the third world.
2) Racists are fringe, especially in the West. Even in more racist parts of the world, many folks tend to respect those who put the effort to fit in.
3) Vivek has the added baggage of being a scammer and insulting the more laid back american way of life.

And if there is, we should swiftly crack down on any such parish.

When Christianity supposedly doesn’t even have the concept of caste - then how can there be caste discrimination??? It should be mandatory for anyone who converts to be officially certified so that everyone know there are. That way we will know who the real ricebags are and they can no longer pretend to be Hindus like you. 😺
