Rad Seg of HCC with CR first imaging after treatment. Look at the relative increase in perfusion at XPer CT between Lobar (image 2) and Segmental (image 3) injection. Level of selection matters! #IRad #Y90 @PW_Doyle @sworkman90

In August 10th of 2008, a 16-year-old boy left his family and moved to the US. Having to deal with academic pursuits and the immigration system has not been easy. Today, I became a citizen of this country. A country that has seen me grow into who I am today.

Is your #radiology #AI tool a #painkiller (relieves the radiologist from performing a perfunctory chore), a #vitamin (adds some efficiency to an otherwise routine task), or a #hallucinogen (allows the radiologist to see things otherwise imperceptible to the naked eye).

For applicants applying into #IR, look for programs that have "bought-in" to the new training paradigm. Key indicators include a longitudinal IR clinic, an inpatient admitting service, and a wide breadth of service lines. #MedStudentTwitter

Perhaps, IR residencies can institute 1 month elective swaps to train visiting IR residents in their strengths and vice versa. Great way to have us all on the same page in regard to exposure when we get out into the real world.@SIRRFS @SIRspecialists @SIR_ECS @SIRmembers 2/2

To my fellow future IR trainees, we have to take PAD back! A concerted national effort amongst us to get trained for PAD could significantly improve our share of the pie in the future. @SIRRFS @SIRspecialists 1/1

“For the cost of a single marginally functional F-35, let alone a white elephant new aircraft carrier, we could fund viral surveillance and basic molecular biology for all of these pathogens for years.” 💯

@AdeAdamson Exactly. I predict that a pass/fail Step 1 with a graded Step 2 does absolutely nothing. Med schools will have students take step 2 a few months earlier so everyone has a score at time of residency applications, and step 2 just swaps in directly to fill the screening role of S1.

Whoa, pass/fail step 1 exam! Good to see that my neurotic 2016 step 1 prep will be rendered obsolete and step 2 scores will become insanely important just in time for me to take for S2 haha.
